25.01.2022 What's one thing we can all do today to make a difference against trafficking and to assist those impacted and at risk. The first and the most obvious thing is to become aware of what's happening in regard to human trafficking in our world today. Then we need to get behind the reputable organisations that are making a difference on the front line.... Get behind them, follow them, and support them, because it's only when enough people say enough is enough, will we rid our world of this evil. EDM Ask TtN representatives to visit your work place, schools, home groups or churches with a visual presentation of the story behind the work. Together we can make a big difference.

21.01.2022 ‘Is this the kind of fast I have chosen?’ Isaiah 58:5 NIV God never commanded you to examine your emotions, experiences, or sins. What He did say is, ‘Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!’ God is not pleased with the misery that comes from self-focus! He has a more effective way to liberate us.... Rather than have us weighed down with remorse, He said: ‘Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice set the oppressed free break every yoke share your food with the hungry provide the poor wanderer with shelterwhen you see the naked, to clothe them, and not turn away from your own flesh and blood?’ (Isaiah 58:67 NIV) God’s way eliminates the ‘paralysis of self-analysis’ by commanding you to forget about yourself completely; to stop dwelling on your imperfections and get involved in the lives and needs of others. His four-point plan for overcoming your flesh is: (1) Acknowledge His grace and see yourself as ‘righteous’ in Christ. (2) Fix your eyes on Jesus. (3) Shun obsessive self-focus. 16.01.2022 What a great time we had bringing the TtN Christmas Stall to Mueller College. The staff and students support was phenomenal, the primary students have followed the journey of two of children in our care and have supported them at every opportunity including the stall. Thank you Mueller.

05.01.2022 ‘Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.’ Hebrews 12:1 NKJV Here are two more things you need to know: (1) The wrong people will hurt you. There are two groups of people you should never be influenced by. The first is composed of VNP people: Very Needy People, Very Negative People, and Very Needling People. ... The second contains VDP people: Very Draining People, Very Doubting People, and Very Distracting People. Love them and help them any way you can, but never be influenced or led by them. Encourage them, but when they start to pull you down instead of lifting you up, disconnect graciously and turn them over to God. (2) The right people will help you. When God has a job to be done, He calls a man or woman to do it. But He seldom calls them alone. He calls others to stand with them and support them. That means your willingness to reach for help isn’t a sign of weakness, but strength. Paul spent an entire chapter in the New Testament acknowledging the people who helped him fulfil his vision. Here’s what he said to the Philippians: ‘Every time I think of you, I give thanks Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy, for you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now.’ (Philippians 1:35 NLT) If you’re wise, you’ll acknowledge the things God hasn’t gifted you to do, delegate them to qualified people, and work from your core strengths. That takes humility on your part, but in the long run it pays great dividends! TWFT
