The aim was to encourage children to channel their inner scientist by observing plants and animals found in their backyard and recording them using the iNaturalist app for their chance to win a prize! 21.01.2022 Our long awaited first release in the OZTRAM range is nearing completion. OZTRAM01000/01001/01002 will be available late August 2020. This super detailed 1:76 scale model of the CAF Urbos 3 trams operating in Canberra includes over 600 etched metal and resin parts with full interior and roof mounted equipment. No detail has been left out of this amazing model.... Each model comes with a limited edition certificate, a realistic base with metal rails and full colour outer cardboard box. Please note that this is a collectors model and not a toy. The Pantograph does not unfortunately raise, and the LRV segments do not bend! Heavy modification would be required for motorisation, which is not recommended. Details for three varying models based on the red livery will be released early August including price. 19.01.2022 Canberra Metro is the company that has been contracted by the ACT Government for the design, construction, operations, maintenance and financing of Stage 1 of Canberras light rail system. Services began operation in April 2019. The Canberra Metro consortium consists of Pacific Partnerships, CPB Contractors, John Holland Group, UGL, Mitsubishi Corporation, Aberdeen Infrastructure Investments, DB Engineering & Consulting (formerly Deutsche Bahn International), CAF and Mitsubis...hi UFJ Financial Group Ltd (MUFG). As the ACT Government gears up to commence construction of stage 2A, an extension of the light rail line to Lake Burley Griffin via the city's west, Canberra Metro commissioned a refreshed website to showcase their involvement in Stage 1 and assist with any future information for Stage 2A. 19.01.2022 As a result of COVID-19 restrictions, for their enrolment period this year Hawker College was unable to host their usual open nights nor were they able to take prospective students and their families on tours of the school. To accommodate for these sudden changes, Hawker College put TransitGraphics to work to produce an online solution! TransitGraphics designed and developed a micro-site containing extensive information for prospective students such as a virtual tour walkt...hrough video, course information with videos from teachers providing a description of each course and an interactive campus map, where the user can navigate around the map to reveal details about what the rooms contain. In addition, TransitGraphics also produced a comprehensive 48 page printed Propesctus booklet for families that requested a copy. The booklet features a refreshed design to complement the new website. 18.01.2022 TransitGraphics recently had the opportunity to work with our client Bustech in their pitch to build and operate the Brisbane Metro. As part of the project we were tasked with preparing a creative proposal for some super attractive bus liveries. This project, titled Icons of Brisbane, featured a suite of 5 full wrap liveries highlighting icons of significance to the City of Brisbane. ... These included architectural icons such as City Hall and the Gabba, geographical landmarks such as the Brisbane River and notable people in the Brisbane community such as Sir Kingsford Smith, Dorothy Hill and Eddie Liu. Changes include new stop names, revised departure points for some routes and more evenly-spaced departures during peak hours. 09.01.2022 In response to the bushfires that impacted Australia earlier this year, a roundtable of scientists and experts recently convened to deliver long term recommendations which will be used to inform ongoing discussions between key stakeholders and the Government regarding our response to the bushfire crisis. Transitgraphics help was recently enlisted to design and produce an A4 pamphlet containing the previously mentioned recommendations information. The document was a collabora...tion between four different organisations, which meant no specific branding was required and it was essential that the design didnt lean in favour of any one particular brand. A new state-of-the-art emergency, surgical and critical healthcare facility on the Canberra Hospital campus will be planned and delivered by Major Projects Canberra. The 8-page gate-fold brochure will be distributed to houses in surrounding neighbourhoods, to update residents on the status of ongoing construction works in their area. Some of these works include the temporary closure of Hospital Road for underground service relocation and the demolition of the former CIT Woden campus to accommodate a temporary car park.
