13.01.2022 Oats are life Oats are a great tool for weight management. Theyre a good source of protein and fiber, which means they will keep you fuller for a longer period of time. I love adding cinnamon on mine to regulate my blood sugar levels and therefore, reduce sugar cravings. Give them a try for breakkie tomorrow. My recipe: 3 Tbs Wholegrain oats... 1/2 cup Almond Milk 1 heaped Tsp Cinnamon 1 scoop @bodyscience salted caramel vegan protein 1 Tbs pepitas 1 Tsp almond butter Blueberries Add oats and almond milk to a pot. Heat until thickened. Mix in nut butter and protein. Top with cinnamon, pepitas and blueberries. . 08.01.2022 The tradgedy of life is not death but what we let die inside of us while we live This quote is one of my favourites as it truly rings home for me. How many of us are "too busy"? Too busy to make time with family, too busy to catch up with friends, too busy to look after ourselves, too busy to love ourselves, too busy to cook ourselves nutritious food, too busy and too damn over it? Burn out is soooo freaking common and each time you are "too busy", you slowly lose a pie...ce of your being. Piece by piece you lose yourself and wind up like the walking dead. Sometimes you just need to take that sick day off work (because thats what theyre there for right?) Or just say NO to all of those unnecessary commitments that you feel obliged to do. Take time out, recharge and relax because nothing is more important than YOU! You only have one life and its yours to LIVE!
