20.01.2022 A little update on our work at Transition Village Wallan. We are still moving slowly forward . COVID-19 restrictions have slowed the pace of the project but wo...rk on the Planning Permit Application is continuing. TVW has already received several of the necessary land reports and has recently contracted to have a level1 CHMP assessment of the site completed. Our committee is hoping to meet the local Indigenous Wurrungeri elders during the process to ask for approval and discuss future involvement in the project. We are incredibly grateful for everyone's support during this difficult time. Restrictions make it difficult for us to engage with the community and raise funds like we normally do, but this trying time highlights more than ever the need for places and projects like this.
