25.01.2022 Did you know track closures are often planned around 12 months in advance? Sometimes tracks need to be closed temporarily to complete maintenance and upgrade works to ensure trains run safely. We try to keep disruptions to a minimum by scheduling track closures on weekends or outside peak hours, and run timetabled railbuses between stations. 25.01.2022 Our Senior Network Officers are usually found on the network tackling fare evasion and safety, but recently, they took on a new role... They've been working at Queensland's border zones alongside Queensland Police Service and Department of Transport and Main Roads (Queensland) to ensure people meet the necessary requirements to enter the state and help keep us safe from further outbreaks of COVID-19.
