25.01.2022 Five trailers loaded Friday on short notice, all departed by 6:30pm, four trailer loaded and sent Saturday morning. Boys did a great job, dropping jobs around yard and beating the odds on zero notice. Client stoked with no top loading, all deck and mezz deck loaded on our new drop deck curtain-siders. Absolutely remarkable water saturation suitable for dam sealing purposes. Have not seen seepage rates so little before, trialled and successful dam wall patching with this clay also. Too good for top dressing, analysis results show no salt, no lime and shrinkage/reduction rate after sample bricks kiln fired are impressive..., they give an idea of suitability for dam sealing. Red clay suitable for top spreading over light ground currently being excavated close to Perth. Talc available now. High grade. 50 tonne consignments. 1t bulka-bag options soon. 07.01.2022 #THETWUDOESNOTREPRESENTME I have had one major gripe with this order and the TWUs actions from the start. Finding specific data on the figures required was a bit of a challenge. What I have figured out is, for the year 2014 the number of Australian truck drivers employed in the industry was 189300 people. I am trying to source through the bureau of statistics how many owner drivers there is. Now, the TWUs national membership is a shade under 90000. Of these 90000 members t...hey include taxi drivers, bus drivers, courier drivers and freight handling staff in depots and airports. If we ignored that for a moment and considered them all road transport drivers you dont need a calculator to figure out the TWU actually represent under half of the people employed in the industry. My guess at the minute from what I have read is that the TWU represents less then 30% of truck drivers and the percentage of owners drivers would be less. I find it insulting and disgraceful that this organisation can represent us as a whole and disregard the majorities opinion. Who did they consult in the first place? I think senator Glenn Steele needs to take these factors into consideration before he speaks for the majority again. These facts need to be submitted against the order to cast more then reasonable doubt over the benefits these fucking idiots think will help any of us. JD.
