25.01.2022 2020 FANTASY LEAGUE PRESENTATIONS FRIDAY 27th NOVEMBER 6.00 for 6.30pm Presentations will be made to celebrate the 2020 Fantasy League season. What a fantastic season it was with 20 teams competing.... Trophies to be presented are: Team Champions highest scorer from each team. Consolation Series winners Fantasy League Premiers Norm Smith Medal Highest scorer in Grand Final Coleman Medal highest scorer for the season Team of the Year the leading 8 players for the season Brownlow Medal based on the usual 3, 2, 1 votes being allocated to each match of the season. The Member’s Draw and the Fairway 500 Draw will take place along with the usual Friday night raffles. Pizza will be available for tea on payment of $5. We anticipate the presentations will take no more than an hour. Come along and enjoy the season review and celebrate with the trophy winners.

15.01.2022 CHANGE TO LOCAL RULES as at 02/10/2020 The local rule in relation to preferred lies has changed as of today. Friday October 02. Preferred lies are no longer permitted in the rough.... Preferred lies will only be available on closely mown surfaces (fairways and green surrounds). The ball must be placed within one club length. LOCAL RULE When a player's ball lies in a part of the general area, cut to fairway height or less, the player may take free relief, within one club length, no nearer the hole. FAIRWAY DIVOTS We have noticed a large number of unfilled divots on fairways. Please be alert to filling your fairway divots. With the fairways being relatively soft, these divots can be quite deep. So please don’t attract the frustration of a player behind you and make sure you fill your divots. We need all divots to be filled as the fairway grass begins to grow more strongly over the next month.

02.01.2022 NEWS FROM MATCH & PLAY THURSDAY / FRIDAY EVENTS Shotgun starts to resume.... Next Thursday 24th September, the Thursday/Friday Series of Open Mixed Stableford events will resume. 9.00 for 9.30 shotgun starts. (See Guidelines below) PLEASE NOTE: We are shifting start to 9.00 9.30 shotgun so that the Club can continue to offer Funeral services on the afternoons after we play. These funerals have provided significant sponsorship income during the COVID-19 restrictions. This condition will only apply until Funeral services can return to normal. HOWEVER, with the current restrictions and rules around the COVID-19 situation, we will need to put in some conditions/guidelines that ensure everybody’s safety and wellbeing. We need to ensure that we wear masks and that social distancing is practiced at all times. GUIDELINES: A shotgun start online booking sheet has been set up for this event. Please book your start tee via this online booking sheet or phone the Pro Shop, 51742460, to enter. (If booking online please book your tee in Group A if you are playing in the event). On arrival at the Course, please head to the deck where you can pay your entry fee ($10) by cash. (Please have correct change when you pay) Your score cards will be available at the deck when you register. We request that you then head out, with your playing group, to your start tee and wait for the siren to sound. On completion of your round, please enter your scores in the computer, as per usual. PRESENTATIONS: Presentations will take place after the event with the usual restrictions inside the clubhouse. We will use the microphone system for presentations The tea/coffee station is off limits for the time being. Pies and pasties will be available. Order when you register before play. We can accommodate 20 seated patrons in the clubhouse at any one time. (10 people in each of the 2 function rooms) Three tables are set up in each area with 10 chairs so if these are all occupied you must not remain in the clubhouse. Please do not use the spike bar. Service at the Bar: One person at a time, while others to queue at 1.50m intervals. 20 people can also utilize the deck for seating and we ask that these be kept available for people wanting to eat or drink. The Gazebo also offers seating for six. Under the restrictions we can have 50 seated patrons outdoors, so the late comers could sit in their carts fronted up to the garden for presentations. If you plan to remain in the Clubhouse or on the deck for more than 15 minutes you must sign in and out with both your name and phone number. Masks must be worn when coming into the clubhouse and while you obtain service but can be removed while eating or drinking.
