24.01.2022 This bridge was an important part of the towns infrastructure and it has been replace and improved several times in its lifetime. Imagine for a minute if it wasn't there!



22.01.2022 Traralgon grew in leaps and bounds, after WW2 with the return of the soldiers, and the need for housing to accommodate workers and their families. As the employment opportunities grew so did the number of workers needed. SEC & APM houses were built and whole new communities were formed.

20.01.2022 My apologies, I have just noticed that this document did not load earlier so it is out of sync. It should have been the first of our Traralgon Shire Story for this week.

13.01.2022 The new fire station in Breed Street was a modern step up from the original one in Franklin Street.

08.01.2022 What a great shot of the east side of the Franklin Street, which shows the old shire building and fire station.

05.01.2022 Many of the councilors who were Shire Presidents were voted in to the position more that once. It is surprising just how many years some of them served.
