25.01.2022 A huge night at the 2017 Presentation evening held at the Traralgon Bowls Club last night. Under 16’s Best&Fairest went to James Lynch. C Grade B&F was first year player Brenton Pump. Owen Godenzi took out B Grade B&F in his final year for the Redsox after 27 seasons, and young gun Blake Townsend won the A Grade B&F. Wayne Beaton was presented with his 1999&2000 Premiership jersey signed by all his Premiership teammates. And our new Life Member Bradley Pratt was officially recognized although he was absent. Well done to President Brian Dillon and the rest of the committee for an outstanding year on and off the field. REDSOX REDSOX HEAR US ROAR

17.01.2022 Today we won an A Grade flag and Bradley Pratt walked us off with a B Grade hit. He also walked away with a Life Membership. What a champion player for a champion club.
17.01.2022 It’s been a long road to get to this point but I am sure that any player, especially in the LV area is going to watch the transformation of Traralgon’s new batting cages with keen interest. Well done to all those involved in the process so far. this space.

10.01.2022 When you think about how many people there are in the world and how many actually make it to ‘The Big Leagues’ it’s pretty hard to imagine that a youngster from Traralgon is now only a few steps away from this dream coming true. Traralgon Redsox pitcher, Blake Townsend will be signing a Professional contract with the Seattle Mariners Major League Baseball Association this Thursday evening. Townsend will become the first Gippsland teenager to sign a professional Major League B...Continue reading
10.01.2022 The indoor training facilities at KLP Baseball are coming along very nicely. Just in time for Winter baseball. Great effort by the club men and women involved.
09.01.2022 The Traralgon Redsox is excited to announce our senior coaches for 2021. After a difficult year in 2020 the club is confident in a strong rebound from COVID with the appointment of John Kus a well known figure in the clubs previous success as a club coach and also very excited in the appointment of 2 Assistant coaches in Luke Hornstra and Jay Ziersch. Kussy has big plans to fast track some of the clubs youth into the senior mix by involvement at senior training and getting th...em into senior games. The club has some great juniors progressing well and John has a great plan in setting up our clubs future. Having 2 very experienced assistants our training sessions will be intense and interesting. Luke Hornstra started baseball at Traralgon as a 7 year old, represented Vic at senior level, has had 5 A grade premierships as a player including 2 as a previous coach at Traralgon. 8 years of Summer baseball at Preston, Berwick and Bonbeach including 1 div 2 final. 3 A grade b&f at the club also. Luke says his coaching goal this year is to bring together the club after a lengthy stint away and to ensure everyone has enjoys their time on and off the field while challenging themselves. Jay Ziersch has been playing baseball for over 30 years. He has represented SA in both juniors and seniors, played in the ABL and Claxton Shield for many years. Jay has also represented Australia U19 touring japan and played 4 years college in USA. Since being at Traralgon as a player he’s been a 2 time premiership player but would like to start coaching. Jay’s goal is to change how he sees the game from just a player to more of a coaching point of view. There’s lots to learn as a player but from a coaching point of view you keep on learning. The clubs looking forward to what these guys can achieve in 2021, not only from a league point of view but more importantly keeping our great club moving upwards. Good luck to all players that join this great team of leaders and wish everyone the best for 2021 season.
