25.01.2022 From LVHA ATTENTION ALL PLAYERS AND MEMBERS! Tonight’s and Saturday’s games are CANCELLED for the weekend!... Unfortunately there has been a positive corona case within our hockey community. This person was at the games last Friday night so if you have any symptoms or need piece of mind please get tested. I am in the process of contacting the health department to see what the next step is and if/who needs to be tested so bare with me. When I have further information I will update you all. Apologies for any inconvenience. Edit - This person did not have any symptoms showing on the Friday night and is shattered about the results and impact on Hockey, so let’s be kind.

25.01.2022 Hey guys, Rovers are going to be ordering Snoods. They will be black with the Rovers logo on them and cost $12.72. While these are great to use as masks these days, they can also be used during winter to keep warm during training or while supporting at the games. Please comment below if you would like one or let Corrinne know ASAP so we can put our order in.

23.01.2022 The following post is from LVHA, please comment below if your keen. Good news people, Hockey is back for the juniors and under 18s!! We are hoping to run a summer comp starting the 8th of October on Thursday nights from 5.30pm. This date is subject to change as we are currently waiting for the go ahead from HV. Please let your club or Ash Vuillermin know if you you are interested so we can work out the details.

18.01.2022 FROM LVHA Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know that unfortunately with the premiers announcement yesterday the LVHA 2020 season is now canceled for the year. We tried our best but it was just not ment to be. ... Thankyou to everyone for putting in all the hard work and time, it was much appreciated! I will keep you updated with any further information but we hope to see you all back for a strong 2021 season (depending on the current situation). Keep up your fitness and Hockey whilst at home and stay safe!

18.01.2022 At 2:30pm today, the State Government announced as of 11:59pm on Wednesday 5 August, regional Victoria will return to stage 3 stay at home restrictions. This means means community sport, either training or playing, is suspended from Wednesday until further notice. A reminder regarding the positive Covid 19 case, Federation University and Latrobe City have advised that the ground and club rooms have been closed for all use until further notice. This includes all trainin...g and informal hits etc. which effectively means all scheduled trainings are cancelled. Thank you to everyone that has done the right thing and continues to do the right thing. Please stay safe and see you back soon.

15.01.2022 From LVHA Further to Corrinne's announcement regarding the positive Covid 19 case, Federation University and Latrobe City have advised that the ground and club rooms have been closed for all use until further notice. This includes all training and informal hits etc. which effectively means all scheduled trainings are cancelled. We wish the person all the best and our thoughts are with them.

12.01.2022 A great night was had tonight at our first summer hockey for Juniors (how awesome was it to be back on the pitch? ) Please note the time change for the following weeks so everyone can play full field. The more the merrier so bring along a friend to try out hockey.

09.01.2022 From LVHA Just thought I’d let you all know i have contacted the COVID-19 hotline and been advised that only people that are showing symptoms are to isolate and be tested. If you wish to get tested for piece of mind that’s perfectly fine. DHHS are in contact with this person and will handle contact tracing. This is why we sign in and out at the field. Thankyou for all your support.

Please be mindful tonight is a see how many we got kind of night and next week we can plan some age group styled games. Parents please bring chairs to sit on the grass to social distance, any adults able to help coach/umpire please let me know

08.01.2022 Hey guys, Summer Hockey for juniors/under18s is starting this Thursday night at 5.30pm. Just show up and everyone will be put into a team and age groups. Bring your own drink bottles, mouth guards and if you don’t have equipment it will be supplied. Insurance for Hockey Victoria is to be paid online on the HV website. Everyone must sign in on arrival and remember to social distance and wear a mask while you are not playing (everyone over the age of 12). If any adults would like to help out please contact Ash Vuillermin. Happy Hockey!!

02.01.2022 A message from LVHA. Hey guys just a couple of points to remember... We must continue to social distance around the field, sign in via the QR or paper trail, one parent per child may come to the game (unless staying in the car), bring your own equipment and drink bottles, stay home if you are unwell and the newest point is, as of this Monday masks in Victoria are mandatory meaning the following weekend everyone over the age of 12 will have to wear a mask. For players, coaches and umpires this means to and from the field, not during play. Thankyou for your continued support. Let’s all do the right thing to #KeepHockeyAlive !!
