25.01.2022 Heading up or down the WA coast? When we do, one of the places we have stayed at for years is Wintersun Caravan and Tourist Park They will also suggest some great things to see and do in the area. They were one of our first TAWK parks to join the TAWKer Supporter Program and we'd love you to support them when in the area. The team there are fabulous! They accommodate BIG rigs and you can bring the dog! OH and the one thing that my kids always loved....they have a bouncy pillow!!

16.01.2022 What do yours use? We've been messaged.... "Good morning! Just a query - my little one is 7 and wants to do the shower thing in caravan parks on her own. I’m fully aware about safety so I still go with her but my question is what is the best way to help her carry her stuff to the showers? ... I was thinking a bag but then had visions of everything been tipped all over the wet floor. I was also thinking a plastic basket so that it’s all contained and can rest on the floor without getting wet. Any advice? Thanks"

You can help them to be a part of your travels with one of our Magnetic Trip Tracker Maps. They can pop it on the fridge and update as you go.... My MIL loved to do this and was always keen to find out where we were and had been - she said she felt connected more to us

Just wanted to ask the community what people may have in place in case of a COVID lockdown? Or whether they just wing it and bunker down where they are? Have some people stuck to the west coast or just to northern Australia which seems to have a smaller percentage of cases? I know this is a new challenge facing lots of traveling families, just wanted to see what people have done/will do. We are a family of four, 4 and 1 yr old. Thanks!!"

When there are six of us trying to fit under the awning in our current chairs there just isn’t much room due to the angle of the arm rests. I’m after all adult sized chairs, what’s your recommendations for a good camping chair that doesn’t have a huge wing span? Many thanks."

04.01.2022 Would a camper be a bad idea for a 12 month trip? We've been messaged..... "Are we crazy to take a camper trailer for 12 months? Hubby and I are starting to plan our big lap. We have always been tent camping people, until we had children who are terrible sleepers. We are planning quite a while ahead (4 years from now), when kids will be aged 4, 5 and 6 and hopefully better sleepers. We still dream of taking a camper trailer, however are starting to wonder whether it will be 'too much' for 12 months. Has anyone done it and regretted not taking a caravan instead? Thanks."

We are thinking of taking a year out initially to do the loop of Australia. We are completely clueless to it all and just at the start of our planning so any advice would be brilliant. ... 03.01.2022 I've put together a TAWK Hack Pack :) An all Aussie Made one :D Just a little collection of things that we sell and are a bit of a hack. Including the Caravan Awning Tie Down Clips (my husband just loves this idea and as the old saying goes..."Happy Husband...er well Happy Husband" LOL... Anyway..... the pack also includes one of my favs the awning clips, which I have used for lighting around the awning AND also for our third item in the pack - the Pegless Clothes line.
