Ittoqqortoormiit lays claim to being the most isolated town in Greenland, but its array of colourful buildings has ensured it does not go unnoticed. It is wedged between the largest national park and longest fjord system in the world and is home to approximately 450 people. Its wooden buildings are painted in an array of bright blues, reds, yellows and greens, contrasting against the grey rock of the landscape. Traditionally the colour of each home also played a practical role, indicating the function of each building, including yellow-coloured hospitals, and fish factories in blue.

The rail system includes artwork done by more than 100 artists. 11.01.2022 Australias newest Silo Art installation situated in St Arnaud in the Northern Grampians has just been unveiled. The project is the work of local artist Kyle Torney who spent an incredible 800 hours creating the masterpiece which depicts the Gold Mining history of the town. Titled Hope, the silo was painted to share the story of the gold mining era that shaped St Arnaud in the 1800s. Hope is situated in St Arnaud, a former gold mining town in Victoria situated between B...allarat and Mildura. The silo now becomes the start of the regions Silo Art Trail extending the trail from Rupanyup. The Silo Art Trail is the largest outdoor gallery in Australia stretching over 200 kilometres.
