24.01.2022 We have stopped in Tooleybuc for the last couple of weeks as Greg hasn't been well. He sees a surgeon today to see if he needs his Gall Bladder removed. In the mean time, I have seen some of the country side with Deb. They have been gracious hosts and we have thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Balranald Art Gallery and river scene. They even had an original Ahn Do hanging in the gallery. Great to see. Greg also took me for a drive to all the places they used to live and go to School.

23.01.2022 Well we have left Moama/Echuca. On the road again. Lunch at Cohuna Waffle House. Yummy ham and cheese toastie. Stopped at Lake Boga Catalina Museum. VERY INTERESTING. Worth the entry fee.

20.01.2022 We've seen a few silo art sites recently. Hoping to see more soon. From Benalla, to Goorambat, Devilish and St James. Amazing works.

18.01.2022 Well Greg is home and feeling good. He had his heart stopped and restarted again and it went back into normal rhythm. Phew. Thanks everyone. Love to you all.

18.01.2022 Off again. The BOYS caught up to us last night. We will meet them at PORTS PLACE tonight.

15.01.2022 Well we stopped at Nyah Recreational Park beside the river for the night (or 2). It has now become very overcast and spitting rain.. Hope the wind doesn't get any stronger.

10.01.2022 Well we have set off on our travels again after a long hiatus due to heart failure and COVID. Heading back to Qld slowly in time for Birthdays and Birth day of our 3rd Grandson. It the first child for our 2nd daughter Samantha and her husband Jack. Soooooo excited. Greg's tablets were not working correctly and his body was filling with fluid as his heart slowly stopped working to capacity. He went into hospital in Swan Hill and with the help of fluid tablets, stopping the wro...ng tablets and increasing the correct tablets, lost 12 litres of fluid in 2 days. He finished up having his heart stopped and restarted again in Bendigo hospital back in May. Then meds upped again before finally getting back under control and gradually losing all the extra fluid and feeling as normal as he can. Hahaha. A big thank you to Deb and Ken Porteous in Tooleybuc for putting up with us for so long and for all their help and support. My Dad's wife of 29 years, Norma passed away on 17th of May ( same date as Mum passed away 30 years earlier). So I went and stayed with Dad for 6 weeks. Although a sad time, it was the first time in 43 years I have stayed with Dad and I have loved the time spent with him. He will be a very fit 90 on 8th September, 2020. A bit of a worry with fading memory and tiredness but we did laugh a lot. I miss him heaps already. It was also a chance to see a lot more of my Brother Chris and Sister-in-law Kristine and their family. And Gregs sisters and hubbies. Such a close family. Loved our time with them all. I am finally off Lyrica medication and with my Rheumatoid Arthritis is remission I have been having a resurgence in knitting. Loving it. For the new Grandson to come, grandsons Charlie and Benji and great nephew Murphy. Apart from tiredness I have been very well lately. With the borders closing and the risk increasing, we thought it prudent with Greg's health to start the trek back to Qld, keeping away from major cities. So we are now in Cobar and heading Nth, nth west before nth east. Eventually hitting Brisbane. See more

05.01.2022 We have travelled to see our relations and had a fabulous time. In Moama/Echuca for another week, then off again looking for Australia and work.
