24.01.2022 What an exhilarating afternoon spent amongst the treetops! Today's activity wasn't for the faint hearted. Some of us conquered our fear of heights, others found their inner strength but most importantly we had alot of fun and lots of laughs. Later in the afternoon we relaxed at our luxurious villa at Aqua Resort and enjoyed each other's company whilst sipping champagne and nibbling on delicious grazing platters.

23.01.2022 It's been a while since the two of us have been able to catch up in person so today called for what we were calling our Femmes AGM! Between coffee and cake breaks, it was a day well spent without interruption, event planning for the year ahead. 15.01.2022 What a perfect way to spend a balmy Sunday evening... hiking Kitty's Gorge to Kitty's Ridge to witness a spectacular sunset. Our amazing guides from Off The Beaten Track WA, Nyrelle and Amy lead the way as we hiked through lush bushland that weaved it's way under towering jarrah trees, along the river to rocky outcrops and to a sunset location like no other with an incredible view of the valley below. The champagne was popped and a lavish gourmet grazing platter followed. T...he time was well spent, eating, drinking, chatting and also often being silent to take in the view and marvel at the everchanging colours of the sunset. As the sun finally set and the air became crisp we put on our headtorches and started to venture back to our start point...this time in darkness. Sounds of birdlife were replaced with the sounds of cicadas and unlike before the different scents ignited our senses. Big thanks to Off The Beaten Track WA for an amazing time and for looking after us!

14.01.2022 Picture this.... the ultimate in self care vacays. You'll start off by checking into your Deluxe accommodation, greeted with a glass of bubbly. You may want to spend the afternoon kicking back by the pool with a book or taking a walk along the beach. Your evening is spent getting creative with a local artist who guides you through a relaxed painting class all whilst sipping on some local wines. The next morning you've just had a much deserved sleep in and the morning is at yo...u're leisure. You've decided to hit the beach and go kayaking and try your luck at stand up paddleboarding. You've felt invigorated but are now feeling lazy... you take a spa, chill by the pool with your fave book and soak up some rays. This afternoon you kick back, indulge in some great food as you feast on a long table grazing picnic all whilst being pampered by your personal beautician who is looking after your tootsies today and giving you a pedicure... the hardest decision to make...what colour nail polish to get. In the evening, you head down the beach. You'll be mesmerised as you indulge your senses- stillness and darkness as you take a unique glimpse of our stars, moons and even planets through a professional mobile telescope in a stargazing experience. Tonight your belly is full and you're in a state of utter BLISS. The aim for this weekend is to RELAX, UNWIND & RECHARGE....after what's been a crazy year we all deserve it. 13.01.2022 We came... and we conquered.. Today we tackled another section of the Cape to Cape, this time from Redgate Beach via Contos to Boranup Forest. So proud of these ladies- we were challenged with all the elements today. We had sunshine, rain, hail, 40km/h coastal winds and even a sneaky water crossing. We started our hike along Redgate Beach learning about the history of the area from our incredible guide, Heather from Cape to Cape Explorer Tours. It wasn't long before we were ...having to get our shoes/feet wet as we crossed Calgardup Brook. Our adventure was only just beginning as we wandered through bushland, navigated our way along the coastal cliffs with views of the raging surf below and a steep climb to Bobs Hollow.. the perfect shelter from the wind and rain. . Lunch soon followed at Contos before we continued on to Boranup Forest where we walked under a canopy of enormous trees and took many photos of beautiful orchids and wildflowers. We headed off course deep into nature and finished with an unexpected surprise visit at Brides Cave. Tonight we sit back, relax with a vino in hand by the fire whilst we enjoy each other's company and leg massages by wonderful Christine!!

12.01.2022 BULLARA STATION STAY Picture this.. You've just spent an 5 amazing days in Exmouth which includes jumping off a catamaran to swim with whale sharks, snorkelling at Ningaloo Reef Marine Park and exploring the many gorges that surround the area...You've packed your bags and are ready to set off to the Outback!... You'll soon leave the coast behind and hit the red dirt as we travel to Bullara Station, a working cattle station located between Exmouth and Coral Bay. You feel like you're in a completely different world as you're greeted with fresh homemade scones and take in the country way of life . Your femmes crew have booked out the entire 'Outcamp', where you'll have your own room with private bathroom, check in and make yourself comfortable. You'll spent the afternoon at leisure- you may want to grab a coffee at the cafe, go for a wander or simply relax on your balcony and enjoy the peace and quiet. This evening we've got the resident chef cooking up a storm for us but as we know pre-dinner drinks are always a must when you're on a Femmes Vacay! You'll be sure to get some red dirt amongst our toes as you venture up the top of the hill. The champers will be popped and before you know it you'll be admiring what will no doubt be one epic sunset. Love stargazing? Known to have one of the darkest unpolluted skies...its the perfect place! Sounds great huh!! Nitmiluk National Park (previously known as Katherine Gorge National Park) is Aboriginal owned land encompassing an area rich in river systems and spectacular sandstone valleys. Located roughly 300km south of Darwin the park has two main entrance points providing access to the park's major attractions, Leliyn (Edith Falls) and Nitmiluk Gorge (Katherine Gorge).

09.01.2022 There's often no better way to appreciate where you are than a view from above! High on alot of our bucketlists was a scenic flight over Purnululu AKA the Bungle Bungles!! As we headed back to the airport we were all very excited to have this incredible experience. We boarded our aircraft and set off on a 2 hour scenic journey which saw us traversing at low altitude and taking in Kununurra, the Ord River Irrigation area, surrounding ranges, Lake Argyle, the infamous Bungle ...Bungles and back via the Argyle Diamomd Mine which has now ceased operations. It was truly a magical experience! #bucketlistholiday #kimberleyregion

There really is no other place in the world that is as quirky and fun as you... I mean seriously Hello Kitty is still a thing, staying in a capsule hotel or better yet one operated by robots, watching sumos training and riding around the busy streets in carts dressed as Super Mario cha...racters is always fun! Until we meet again, we'll say Sayonara, have a feed of sushi and sip on Sake in your honour.

01.01.2022 So hard to believe this was already a month ago! Special mention goes to Bianca Lucas from Little Sunshine Yoga Perth , our yoga guru who we had as a surprise guest and Heather from Cape to Cape Explorer Tours for looking after us so well on the day! We're excited to be doing this all again this weekend with another group of like minded women on our second departure! We'll be hiking from Redgate Beach to Boranup- one of the most spectacular sections of the track so stay tuned.

01.01.2022 An important element on every Femmes getaway is food! When we are creative in the kitchen our dishes are created with passion, we look for that same element when we eat out. We are already looking forward to eating the food in Darwin next year which is a mixture from indigenous cultures & asian influences plus freshly caught seafood....
