25.01.2022 The best thing we can give our kids in life is the gift of travel. Brae has been lucky enough to have visited 10 countries in his first 5 years but he’s also been lucky enough to travel throughout Australia, except the N.T. We are so lucky to be down in Tasmania at the moment but we can’t wait to get out there exploring again soon ... Where is your favourite destination? 24.01.2022 Does anybody know what a ‘TravelManager’ actually is? There are so many of us around Australia & New Zealand, literally hundreds. The main factor is wanting a more stable family life. Another factor is, we love travel and don’t want to be ‘tied down’. Once we’ve felt the freedom or had kids it’s no longer suitable for us to be in the ‘normal’ 8:30-5:30 office job and continue to miss out on so much of our lives. 15.01.2022 Just a little update to let you know I’m still here & happy to book any hotel accommodation for locals at the moment. I’ve had a couple more International cancellations this month so currently sitting on a negative -$89 which is not unusual at the moment but I’d love to get it up to at least a positive +$100 We may not be able to travel much at the moment but we are so lucky to be able to explore our own state ... For those that don’t know, I live on a little island at the bottom of Australia. A lot of international tourists hear of Sydney and Melbourne but they don’t know about our little hidden gem 240km across Bass Strait ‘Tassie’ is widely known for having the cleanest air in the world, the best scenery and the richest history compared to other states in Australia. We are also known for having all four seasons in one day!!! We are the 26th-largest island in the world and fun fact, our state encompasses another 334 surrounding islands - WOW!!! We had a population of about 537,000 as of December 2019 but it would be really interesting to see how many of us have made it ‘homeward bound’ to have some R&R during this crazy covid shamozzle. We certainly are living in a safe haven at the moment So let me know when you are going to book your next hotel and who knows, I might make some ‘bread n milk’ money out of it
