21.01.2022 September 11 - A day no one will ever forget On this day 19 years ago, unimaginable horror struck America when four commercial flights were hijacked by terrorists and crashed into sites including New York City’s Twin Towers. In 2014 I had the privilege of visiting the memorial sight. My heart sunk, but it also gave me a feeling of so much pride at the strength and courage of a great Country. To all the Heroes,Survivors and Ones who lost their life that day you will never be forgotten

17.01.2022 'Adapt' : become adjusted to new conditions. And no better example than the The Mount Isa Mines Rodeo 2020. For the first time in 61 years there won't be a live Rodeo in Mount Isa......SO....the organisers adapted and came up with the '2020 Virtual Mount Isa Mines Rodeo' where you'll be able to experience all the rodeo action from the comfort of your home.... A true example of how this pandemic has made different industries adapt to the new normal, be it virtual or online, social distancing or from your lounge, travel to the shops or travel domestically. The travel industry has been hit hard, with international borders shutting earlier in the year and now interstate changing from day to day.

15.01.2022 MID-WEEK WRAP UP This week has already been very positive for Domestic travel, and we are only part way through! QUEENSLAND: The border will reopen to Greater Sydney, and therefore all NSW, at 1am on 01 December. It’s been 28 days since New South Wales had an unlinked case. Victoria passes the 28-mark day tomorrow all going well, the border should open to Victorians on 01 December too. This border closure has been tough on families, so the reopening is wonderful news.... VICTORIA: It was an emotional day yesterday, with the NSW border opening to Victorians after a very long 138 days. The border reopening has breathed new life into one of the world's busiest air travel routes, with a total of 25 planes landing in Sydney from Melbourne. CRUISING: Carnival are swapping out some of their International sailings with 10 additional domestic sailings in 2021, giving guests the opportunity to explore the beauty of our own backyard by sea, here in Australia and in New Zealand. These new itineraries will include many tropical ports where guests can take advantage of the largest coral reef system in the world and picture-perfect postcard moments in Airlie Beach, Moreton Island, Port Douglas and Cairns. GROUP TOURING: All your favourite tour companies Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, Bunnik, Crooked Compass, G Adventures, APT, Intrepid, Wendy Wu, Contiki, Chimu have launched wonderful tours around Australia, so you don’t have to miss out. There’s too many to mention, so contact me for more details. #TogetherInTravel #supportlocal #supportsmallbusiness
