21.01.2022 Looking through the old photobooks from previous trips is helping our family get through this non travel period. This classic picture is from 2011, when four friends decided to head over to the USA together. It was an amazing trip and the memories we will have forever. Here #josephdorward that's forward with a D, and I are mucking around on the seat tester outside of Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey Experience. We were approached by a young wizard that asked us where ...we were from and if we wanted a personal tour of Hogwarts. Of course we accepted and were treated to a VIP tour that gave us an express pass to the front of the 3 hour queue. All because we were just having a little fun and laughing so hard. 12.01.2022 A little scary story for all my travel friends out there. BOOKING ONLINE IS NOT ALWAYS AS IT SEEMS........ The Smiths (real identity protected) booked business class flights to the UK for travel in April 2020 with Alpha Flight Guru, a US based online booking engine that spruke unbelievable savings on first and business class flights. ... The flights were cancelled by the airline, Cathay Pacific, and the traveller was offered a flight credit with Alpha Flight Guru of $14,000 yes you read that correctly. Cathay Pacific are actually refunding flights/fares if the flight was cancelled by them, yet Alpha Flight Guru only offered a credit. After much back and forth this client went straight to Cathay to try to find out what was going on with her money. Cathay Pacific advised her that they had refunded, in full, the Marco Polo points (Frequent flyer points) used to make the booking!! She is not a Marco Polo member. Alpha Flight Guru have kept the $14k and got their Marco Polo points (Frequent flyer points) back which they used to make her booking. Always, always, always book with a reputable Travel Agent with a great reputation and reviews. This is not the first horror story about an online booking agent.

COVID INSURANCE THE Singapore Tourism Board and Changi Airport Group today announced that foreign visitors will be able to purchase inbound travel insurance coverage for... COVID-19 related costs incurred when visiting Singapore. The initiative is launching after a tender process which saw three insurance companies develop new products providing at least S$30,000 in coverage for COVID19-related medical treatment and hospital costs. The new offering is available effective immediately with premiums from just S$5.35, with Changi Airport Group CEO Lee Seow Hiang saying with the gradual resumption of travel and the re-opening of borders, having robust travel insurance options in place is integral to ensuring a successful and sustainable revival of inbound travel to Singapore. 06.01.2022 How do you plan and book your next trip with a Personal Travel Manager? There are a number of ways where we can achieve this, we start with an initial phone call or email enquiry to go over the basics of what you have in your mind or scribbled on a piece of paper. From there I will most likely query you with a few qualifying questions to gauge a better understanding of how you like to travel, the important things that I know from my experience in the industry and from person...al travels that could make or break your trip as well. Please keep in mind that if you are local to Buninyong or Ballarat I can always come and visit you at your home or meet at the local cafe. I’m partial to a good coffee though so beware. I then speak to my extensive network of wholesalers to create that perfect itinerary for you and present this to you via email or snail mail with a follow up phone call to discuss. Changes can be made and plans swapped around to suit before locking it in. We then communicate during the lead up to the trip as required, and approximately 3-4 weeks prior to travel, your documentation will be mailed out to you.
