07.01.2022 I have loved The Ekka since I was a little girl. The carnival sounds, smells (mainly cow dung) and excitement of eating a sauce dipped dagwood dog, a strawberry ice cream and deciding which show bags to buy - top of mind! The Ekka has changed a lot over the years, especially the show bag pavilion which in my opinion has sadly lost its magic maze feel. This year we can still enjoy the adored Strawberry ice creams from Home. Or try your hand at a decadent Strawberries n Cream ...cocktail! Im keeping away from those dagwood dogs!
