12.01.2022 AND BREATH ! This morning I woke up and breathed a sigh of relief knowing I have finally managed to get all my clients home safe and sound , the last two arrived at 12:30 am . To say the last few weeks have been crap is an understatement, many late nights with chocolate and wine have being my comfort and theres a few new grey hairs appearing. I have been in the travel industry for 21 years and this has to be the worst situation I have ever had to deal with . From the Ansett... collapse , Tsunamis , Bird flu , SARS, 9/11 , Ash clouds , Global Financial Crisis and many more. The travel industry has been hit hard but we always bounce back bigger and better . We often hear oh I can get that cheaper online I urge you next time to really think is that small saving worth it ? We may not always be the cheapest as we are providing you a service and can spend hours researching for your dream holiday, we are not just a point and click system on a laptop. We care about your holidays and we work with companies to keep your money here in Australia instead of paying it out to overseas companies that we do not have relationships with. There are many other reasons but I wont go into that now. I think its an appropriate time for this picture as its times like this when you really do need us to have your back .
