01.01.2022 Fantastic Friday! Is the latest name for our Friday segment. These teams are an integral part of Melbourne life, culture, history, its everything. Melbourne without trams is like London without its bridge. Trams are the most convenient stress free way to move about the city, especially if youre going into the CBD (central business district). Trams were first horse drawn in 1884 to 1923, and continued as cable-electric from 1885 to now. Though there are 24 tram routes today, the tram lines are numbered from 1 to 109, many of the routes have since been retired.
