14.01.2022 Ipoh, my childhood home has always been famous for its food and charming colonial-era shophouses. Now it is gaining a reputation for the wonderful street art in the old town, painted by Lithuanian artist Ernest Zacharevic. Here's just a few of the murals on show.

09.01.2022 Singapore is certainly the gift that keeps on giving! Every time I stay here there is something new to explore. This time I decided to head for Katong, half way between the airport and the CBD. If you think Singapore would be boring out in the 'burbs', think again. Katong, through some miracle, escaped the ‘bulldoze and highrise’ era in Singapore. And thanks to another miracle a significant number of houses and shops date from the Peranakan times. These now heritage protected homes and building are truly a joy to behold. Check them out.
