25.01.2022 The Sixties saw massive changes in the world, and in the music we listened to. We are excited to participate in Club Local - Swinging Sixties at DRTCC in the Convention Centre. On Saturday the 26th of September, from 7:30pm, DRTCC are presenting Club Local - Swinging Sixties! Tickets are $35, and COVID safety procedures are in place to protect our audience and performers. We welcome Rod Bloomfield back as vocalist to our front line, and of course we have the incredible Mich...elle O'Callaghan, backed by our new backing vocalists. Featuring Tim Billiards on Trumpet, Eric Smith on Baritone Sax, Tom Rogers on Guitar, Sarah Lindsay on Bass, and the usual crew of talented performers, we have a great selection of tunes from the sixties to entertain the crowd. Allyn Smith will be performing as a solo artist, and Orana Dance Centre will bring the moves with two brilliantly choreographed performances. Dress up in your own mini-skirt and boots, or maybe, teased hair, hooped earnings and wide ties are more your style. Social dancing is not permitted but there may be opportunity to Shimmy, Hitchhike and do the 'Swim' whilst in your seats! 18.01.2022 Raconteur Productions and Dubbo Regional Theatre present Club Soda with the Tin Roof Big Band and outstanding cabaret performers. A night of swing dancing, infused with theater, cabaret, dance and burlesque with a twist of magic, circus and comedy! Presented in the Convention Centre, speakeasy style cabaret seating with tables of eight and dance floor for swing dancing. 17.01.2022 It's been quite a while since we played at the Dubbo Rotunda in Church Street. Last time we were there, the year was 2015, and we had quite a few different faces in the band. There was no COVID to deal with, and the world was a totally different place! Come on down on Saturday morning to hear us play. Book a table with one of the nearby cafes or bring a folding chair. We will be performing from 10am till 12pm, to give everyone a taste of our favourite tunes! Hope to see you there!
