25.01.2022 Thankyou so much to all of you for coming today, we know that we will miss these shindigs with you. You have become a part of us, and these monthly concerts have been a great source of enjoyment, community & music in our lives. Our Back2Basics family will live on in our hearts we assure you. But as some of you are already aware, things have been a bit tough lately and we are being reminded to put ourselves first this time. The time has come for us to say goodbye. ... Back2Basics was always about sharing our love of music and friendship, and giving everyone a go. And we really feel that we achieved this goal. We hope you all continue to share your love for music with the world around you. We have absolutely loved the experiences & memories that being a part of The Rough Diamonds has given us, but mostly, the beautiful friends we have made along the way. When we started TRD back in 2006, it was always about sharing our love of music, family & community. And throughout our years performing together we have hosted many fundraisers, supported many up & coming artists & we have been a part of many amazing events & festivals. We have been blessed to perform with such a large array of extremely talented artists & musicians. Many of whom we will forever be in awe of, & some of whom have become lifelong friends. The experiences that our music journey has given us will stay with us always. But it’s time.. It’s time we say yes to ourselves first. It’s time for our health & families to be at the forefront of our lives. Music is a huge part of who we are, we feel it in our veins. We will continue to enjoy the blessing it is in our lives, just in a different way. And who knows what the future will bring. We are sisters & friends first, & we always will be. To say Thankyou to our friends & fans for all the love and support over the years seems so insignificant. To say Thankyou to our family especially our beautiful Mother & our late Father for being such a constant source of guidance, love & comfort will never cover the deep gratitude we hold in our hearts. To say Thankyou to our beautiful sister Lou, who joined us for many of our crazy TRD adventures could never express our adoration & love for those special times as a sister trio.. And of course to amazing grandmother Ma, for her never failing love & support. But we ask you to imagine our thanks, to be filled with so much more than we couldn’t ever begin to put into words. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you all. We have loved this beautiful ride, the ups & even the downs. The opportunities & the setbacks. 18.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Due to personal reasons, the Back2Basics concert planned for this coming Sunday 24th February will be our FINAL Back2Basics concert. It is time for us to put ourselves, our health & our families first.... We will dearly miss our Back2Basics community, & we hope you all understand. Let’s go out with a bang! Hey?
