23.01.2022 Dear All, As you might already know, our shop in Kalamunda will close down on 15 Aug 2020. We shall still be online and posting . We still have new stock in as our small products will soon be available for online purchase . Our Upcycled furniture will be available for viewing & pickup in my studio North of the river or available in art collectives around Perth. Interior Design consultations will still be available, depending on your needs. Unsold bespoke furniture will be used for our staging business if not sold prior . 20.01.2022 When I was a kid I saw other clocks by this maker at a local store and I always love visiting the store to watch them. I am so extremely lucky to have bought this one for $20 at a thrift store booth at the local farmers market. It is the coolest thing I own.

10.01.2022 Throwbacks: painted wardrobe . This was a top quality wardrobe, large ( 2m x 2m) modern inside but a bit flat and tired on the outside. It came from a mansion as Salvos refused to pickup ! Massive job with various products available at the time ( chalk paint, Annie. Sloan black wax , mineral paint, Redesign transfers and lots of shading for an architectural 3D look and a crushed velvet touch ... It found its forever home pretty quick ( promised into marriage before being finished :)

09.01.2022 Im pretty pleased with this epic secondhand find! We have a local online auction site here in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, that I often use when I need to ...purchase household items for a cheap price. I was on the site looking to replace my broken kitchen trashcan when these funky blue men caught my eye. I had no idea what they were, but after googling a bit I discovered that they were called wall climbers and could be found hand made on sites like Etsy for around $40. I discovered that this art form was originated by a Colombian artist by the name of Ancizar Marin, whose original works are on display in Musesms and Galleries worldwide. So I decided to bid on them, as they were only $10 at the time. Unfortunately I got trapped in an irrational bidding war, lost my senses, and bid all the way to $93 for the 6 figures, which was way over my $40 limit. When I won, I deeply regretted my impulse buy as a costly mistake and promised my husband I would try to resell them right away. The picture on the auction site did not do them justice and I really had no idea quite how gorgeous they were until I picked them up. You cant imagine how excited I was to discover that I had bought six original Ancizar Marin wall climbers! I found several galleries selling his climbers for $440 each. (Did I mention that I splurged and spent $93 for all 6 of them? ) When I brought them home, my husband and kids loved them as much as I did and they are now proudly hanging on a previously empty stairwell wall. (As a side note, it turns out that the auction company was selling off the physical assets of a financial company after the SEC shut them down for bilking their investors of over $100 million dollars in a Ponzi scheme. Made me feel less guilty about getting these guys at such a deflated price!) See more
