25.01.2022 VALUE THE QUALITY OVER PRICE Have you heard the term "Buy Once, Cry Once?" It describes purchasing something for the quality and not particularly the price. These days more and more stores choose quantity at the sacrifice of quality to produce cheaper items. Think about it for a moment...... If the item you buy for $5 only lasts 1 month and you have to buy it again every month, you're spending $60 a year! But if you find that same item in a different store that is of a higher quality for $60, it would last you 5 years, doesn't it sound a little better to make that upfront investment. Technically it would only end up costing you $1 per month in that case... crazy right! At TYV, this is how we think about pre-loved items. If something is pre-loved and still striving, this shows that quality means everything. If something is good enough to be resold again after being worn, it really shows its true colours. It is so important to stretch out the life cycle of your item! One of the best parts about choosing to buy high quality items, is most of the time the manufacturers use higher quality material making the clothing far more durable. Think about all the vintage items you have ever seen or own. My mamma & grandmamma have passed clothing down to me that look IMPECCABLE & some of these pieces are almost 50 years old. Now thats quality! So, in all, BUY that high quality jacket for winter, CRY because of the price, and not purchase another one again for a very long time. Make an investment today. The prop in this photo is a Vintage Polaroid Camera SX70. ... The gentleman who I purchased this camera from said it was his late fathers. This item is now something I hold close to my heart because I know how hard it is to pass something on that was once the item of someone you love. I told him that I would take very good care of this sentimental piece & wanted to use it in this photoshoot as one of the main props. and boy are we glad we did!
