25.01.2022 Something a little different to trees but still interesting.

23.01.2022 Nature is just amazing

23.01.2022 Throwback Thursday Circa 2004 Here is our Director, Kelvin dismantling a large Pine tree at a residential property in Hilton. From time to time you will still find Kelvin (in his full PPE) out about with the crews. Your a legend Kel, we appreciate all your hard work.

20.01.2022 Thumbs up for FRIDAY!! Here is Enda climbing his way into this magnificent Corymbia calophylla (Marri) which required some deadwood pruning in Lakelands, Western Australia. Have a great weekend everyone.

17.01.2022 Striking image of a recently burned tree, exposing its vascular tissue, the xylem and phloem. A trees vascular system carries water and minerals from the roots... up to the leaves, and photosynthesized food back down to the rest of the tree. Interesting fact: Trees have no muscles (or nervous system) so all of this movement is powered by turgor pressure, which is controlled by stomata in the leaves that open and close as needed. 17.01.2022 Here is Thomas, one of our talented climbers removing the dead wood in a Eucalyptus gomphocephala (Tuart). Who would like the same office views?

15.01.2022 Today we had our qualified Arborist attend to a clients tree in the Perth Hills. The tree (Eucalyptus wandoo) holds significant value, especially to local habitat, however due to bird damage and the age of the tree the client had some concerns about the structural integrity. The client was adamant that the removal was not the preferred option however needed professional advice so went on to locate a qualified Arborist. ... After an assessment was completed by Jim (Tree Care WAs Operation Manager/Diploma Arborist) it was deemed that the tree had some issues, however with the installation of a brace and annual monitoring it could stay. Riki (Tree Care WAs Supervisor/Arborist) undertook an aerial inspection to confirm the initial assessment and to install the brace. At Tree Care WA we take great pride in our work and with a changing world we appreciate and understand the importance of Trees. If you need professional advice please contact our friendly administration staff.

14.01.2022 Congratulations to Riki for taking out the WA Tree Climbing Championship 2021. A true professional as always! Fantastic effort by @aydynaagesen, @rastagav__shoba and Charles all competing in their first competition and excelling. Once again the Tree Care support crew were there in numbers to cheer on the four gents competing.

13.01.2022 Happy Easter to you all from the Tree Care family.

13.01.2022 One of our teams worked today on this amazing corridor of Allocasuarina huegeliana (Rock Sheoaks) which is located within the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale. The team did an amazing job, only taking off what was absolutely necessary for vehicles. A big thank you to the Supervisor - Matty Bear Smith and the rest of the team for a job well done and this great photo.

12.01.2022 Recently Tree Care WAs consulting Arborist were requested to undertake an assessment of a large Corymbia citriodora. The client contact Tree Care WA due to having concerns regarding a large crack that could be easily seen from the ground. After the Arborist completed an aerial assessment it was concluded that the condition was due to bark splitting, this splitting occurs from fluctuating growth conditions. (Dry weather followed by wet or ideal growth conditions or vice vers...a can cause a vigorous period of growth which can lead to splits in the bark). The client acted correctly by seeking professional advice as cracking/splitting is not always caused from fluctuating growth conditions and could have easily been another defect called a Shear Crack, this is normally caused from torsional loading and can be extremely dangerous. If you have a tree that requires attention feel free to call our friendly staff for further information on Arboricultural Consultancy.

08.01.2022 The team have hit the ground running in 2021, with multiple Emergency call outs over the break due to some heavier winds. Many were critical to infrastructure and public transport, which required a crew promptly. Fortunately we had a great response from the team which enabled us to make safe for the general public. Sometimes it can be as simple as some weight reduction pruning that prevents your tree from being damaged in heavy winds or a storm.... For an obligation free quote check out our website www.treecarewa.com.au or call our friendly admin staff on 1800 960 811 We wish you all the very best for 2021 See more
