20.01.2022 Our Centre Manager and Assistant Manager / Educational Leader were lucky enough to be apart of this last Tuesday. Nature play QLD Partnered with Logan Together and Queensland Department of Education and Berrinba East State School to facilitate a Nature Pedagogy workshop for early years educators throughout Logan. Berrinba’s forest play areas and Loose Parts play was inspiring and the perfect place to host a workshop. #naturepedagogy #natureplay #earlyyearslearningframework #outdoorslearning #bushkindy

13.01.2022 We have been busy exploring our nature environments at Treehouse. The children have been looking for bugs under all of our rocks we have around our bike track. Some of us even created some houses out of natural materials! We will continue to extend the children's interest on this throughout the outdoor environments along with the indoor envrionments.

13.01.2022 Look at us building towers in our outdoor environments! Whist doing this we count how many blocks we are putting on and form conversations with our peers and educators in relation to different coloured blocks we are placing onto our tower!

01.01.2022 Can you count as you place the counters over the picture? Do you have enough counters to cover the picture? How many can you fill the picture with? What colour are you using? The children investigate using the counters in a number of different ways. Educators are able to ask the children these open ended questions as they are exploring provocations that are set up in their learning environments throughout the service.
