15.01.2022 As some of you know, last year we lost a great friend, companion, coworker and housemate that was devastating to all of us to say the least. It was on this day 12 months ago that Tommy very sadly ended his life at just 23 years of age (some of you will remember him from our recruitment video that we still use to this day) With little context as to why he did what he did, what we do know for sure is that he really did love this place. Treeincarnation was genuinely somewhere he... felt at home, where he could let his guard down and simply be himself. Treeincarnation’s vision was one that he shared too. He wanted to see this company grow, have its’ culture amplified even more and for the business to make an even greater positive impact on the world. Because Tommy was such an integral part of who we were, one of our trucks has been named after him to remind us of how blessed we were to have him, and that what we do each and every day is the change that he also wanted to see within the world. No matter how big this company gets, it will always be remembered how much of a good friend he was to all of us, the good times we shared together and how much enjoyment he got out of simply just being here. Please if there is someone in your life who you suspect is going through a tough time, please please please have the courage to reach out and be there for them. I’d chatted to Tommy a few weeks before his passing and believed he was ok and that he was on the up and up. One Saturday morning, after having a couple of causal beers with him the night before, I found him in my garage deceased. Something I wouldn’t wish on anyone We’re all in this together, and we’re all just doing the best we can in any given moment. I don’t believe enough people are consciously aware that one day each of us are going to die. Embrace it folks, have the time of your life while you’re here, be quick to forgive and don’t sweat the small stuff #totommy #itsokaynottobeokay
