14.01.2022 Our Bring Your Grandparent to Playgroup session last week won the Playgroup WA competition prize pack for our event At Treendale Playgroup we provided biscuits for Grandparents and set up some activities for the Grandparents to participate in with their grandchildren. We had:... A reading table which had Grandparent themed books. A craft table to create a flower together to represent growing. A tea party table to encourage roleplay. A playdough table for creativity. We then all listened to the story Why I Love My Grandma as a storytime session to the whole group of attendees. We finished the session as an entire group by playing the Hokey Pokey on Cd and danced to all the moves. A huge thank you to everyone who came along last week, in particular the Grandparents. It was great to have you join us

Playgroup WA and Royal Life Saving WA encourage playgroup members to participate in water play activities and chat about keeping kids safe around water. 12.01.2022 It was a rainy morning today but we still had a big turn out of families. What better opportunity to make rainbows than on a day like today, so our big kids enjoyed our rainbow craft sesh

Our kids got to do amazing Christmas craft activities courtesy of our friends at Brilliant Beginnings Childcare: Treendale ... Our special visit from Olaf was a hit too. Come along tomorrow for our last Playgroup of the year.

08.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who made the huge effort of coming to Playgroup this morning despite the crazy cold wet weather. Our older kids in the group got to do some chicken craft. Their work was egg-ceptional See you next week.

08.01.2022 As we come to the end of another year of playgroup, we would like to have some new faces join our committee for 2021. Therefore, if anyone would love to step up into a bit more of a formal role then we would love to hear from you. A role as committee member can give a nice sense of self-worth, a feeling of really achieving things, making things happen and working as part of a team. It also looks great on your CV if you are taking time away from your career.... 07.01.2022 It was an amazing turnout today. I made play dough the night before for not all the little ones but most to play with take home. I set up a colouring table and had the outside toys out side. The roller coaster as always was a big hit along with the trampolines. Thankyou to all the families who attended today help pack up at the end of the session. Hope to see you all again next week.

05.01.2022 It was a beautiful day today apart from that cold chill in the air. But the cold never stops our little guests playing in the sand pit and running around. Our make a wish craft was a big hit too our little people enjoyed pasting and sticking down pom poms, confetti and loved coloring in Bluey colouring sheets. Thankyou all for a lovely morning!

02.01.2022 Week 2 of Term 3 The sun was shining for us this morning so we jumped on the chance to get lots of our outdoor toys out of the shed. Our bubble wand was an absolute hit too. We welcomed 3 new families and had fun making our beautiful butterflies
