15.01.2022 Anyone else feeling a little at this moment in time? This "C" word has a lot of us rattled, right? Well here's a brain dump of everything I know about overcoming anxiety. I thought there's no better time to impart my knowledge on this subject Turn off stress hormones by taking deep breathes. Deep breathes send messages to your brain that you are safe now.... Practice mindfulness. Close your eyes and bring yourself to this present moment, reiterate to yourself, I am safe in this moment, I am healthy in this moment, in this moment all is well, my worries do not exist in this moment. Remind yourself that studies have proved that 80% of the things we worry about never actually happen. Takes the sting out of your thoughts right Write what you're worried about, it disconnects the relationship between your thoughts and the fear circuits in your brain. Allowing you to look at situations with more logic. Check in with your physiology, are your shoulders tense? Is your head bowed? Our bodies hold our emotion, shake it out realise the emotion, shoulders up, head high, embody calm. Reframe, your worries sit in the subconscious part of your brain, bring your thoughts to the conscious part of your brain, ask yourself how do I want to think about this situation? What can I control? Talk to someone about it, often when we voice our worries it untangles the mess. To that end I'm opening my phone up to you all in this time, just for a chat, to do my bit for this crazy world we're caught up in. 04.01.2022 AN OPEN LETTER TREE of WINGS turns 2 this month! This year I'm celebrating someone very special to this business and here's an open letter to her. Dear 2018 Hayley,... Thank you for being gutsy enough to believe you could, thankyou for starting this journey, thank you for putting your doubt aside even though I know you'll spend countless hours second guessing yourself in the midst of the night wondering if you're good enough, wondering what people might think, wondering if you can, feeling like an imposter and even a joke at times. Thank you for braving that, working through that tirelessly to get to the other side, never giving up, inching further and further out of your comfort zone knowing confidence would come - I know it'll be scary, oh but how brave you will be. Know none of it will be in vain. I stand here today treating myself with kindness, more confident in my abilities than ever, truly proud of us, playing with my comfort zone as though it's a game, ever excited for the next challenge and overcoming obsticles with ease - all because of you and what you're about to go through, so I thank you. I have been blessed to coach some truly incredible women, in partnership with them we've done some truly big and beautiful things within their lives - but I couldn't have done it if you weren't first brave enough to begin. 01.01.2022 With a New Years comes a new decade AND a New Tree Of Wings For almost 2 years I've had the privallage of coaching such beautiful women, all of whom had VERY different end goals and come from many different backgrounds Which has been FAB!! Helping women through all sorts of aspirations has given me the best experience. It's now time to take that experience and get focused on exactly who I'm here for and do everything I can through my beautiful business to be of service to... those women. After coaching women virtually as far away as Norway (God bless technology), something has called me home, to the women I call home. And so I'm here now, standing exactly as the coach I want to be, to help women do big things from Small Places After all, just because we live in small towns doesn't mean we can't live big lives - am I right?
