24.01.2022 CASH for QUAD BIKES ( even rusted) Located in Ayr Trev Racks is currently on the hunt for quad bikes. We are mainly interested bikes in good condition that have fallen victim to corrosion in the bottom of the frame. This is very common and worth investigating even if you’re not selling. Although we have a preference for particular quads ( Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki) all bikes in all conditions are considered. We also do customer repairs. Message, text or phone 0419808765.

24.01.2022 Quad bike rust repairs. Located in Ayr nth Qld. Typical strip, repair, reassemble is around $2500. If you strip it yourself it’s around $1500. This is not a qui...ck fix. Rather a permanent solution. Repairs are done with 316 stainless tube that’s thicker than factory so it will last for many years to come. 22.01.2022 Not for sale. Located in Ayr nth Qld. On the hunt for a part. The quad is Polaris 570 X2 2011. The part I’m after is the piece in the top right of the frame that you remove to take the engine out. Any help would be appreciated. I’ve only ever seen two of these up close and they were rusted out so I think there’d be be some old carcasses kicking around. Any help woul be appreciated. Message , text or phone 0419808765

21.01.2022 Next weeks project. Take three Honda 500’s and make a safe, rust free reliable and good looking farm bike. Still not sure if the donor quad is having a heart transplant or if the customer’s bike is having a body transplant.

20.01.2022 If you couldn’t be stuffed making a pizza you got to Dominos. If you don’t feel like giving your quad bike the once over and detail it deserves you bring it to Trev Racks. Broken bolts. Bent racks. Plastics not lining up. Leave it for someone else.

18.01.2022 Check your frame. Get it repaired before it’s too late.

17.01.2022 Located in Ayr Nth Qld Quad bike rust repairs. Quality permanent rust repairs. The most common area for rust it the two bottom rails. These are cut out and replaced with stainless steel. There are Four main price brackets. 1. Quad is in close to immaculate condition apart from rusted bottom rails. Strip, repair reassemble. $3000... 2. Quad is in good condition but has other ares besides the main frame that require attention. Ie control arms need repainting,rusted or snapped bolts etc, extra winch or lights for disassemble/ reassemble. $3500 3. Quad is very run down. Parts of bottom frame so rusted out leaving it misaligned. Parts of the frame higher up need replacing. Racks need straightening, rusted bolts, winches , lights etc. $4000 and above. 4. Quad needs a total refurb. Almost immediately falls into category 3. Total price will depend on parts need and also what is available. May be a prolonged project touching base with the customer regarding important decisions. These prices are for labor and materials only and subject to change upon further inspection. No work is started until price is agreed. Any extra parts required will be at an extra cost. Such parts may include exhaust gaskets perished bushes etc swing arm bearings uni joints. 15.01.2022 Grizzly 550 rust repairs final product. Replaced the two outside pipes from front to back with one continual piece of 316 stainless.

15.01.2022 Transformation complete. Started with a farm bomb that was rusted out but still ran fine. Even though I could’ve done the repair work on the frame it would still have needed a great deal of work and parts to get it up to scratch. Came across a donor bike of the same model. It had its own issues to sort out. The main one being the farm gate style bull bar welded to the front of it. Had another front bar to use so I spent some time on it and got it looking pretty good. Had to w...eld brackets on the rear of the frame to accommodate the factory rack. (Somebody at some time had welded the old one straight to the frame). Mixed and matched plastics until I came up with this respectable looking workhorse. It’s now ready to get back out mustering. This time however, if it happens to roll on its side the owner will see a solid frame instead of thin air where the frame is supposed to be. See more

14.01.2022 See. No trouble

14.01.2022 Located in Ayr nth Qld. Looking at fitting in a few buggy trays in the next couple of months. Honda pioneer 1000 and Yamaha Viking 1000 are the flavor of the month. The Vikings have to have a new pivot bracket fabricated from scratch whist the pioneers are incorporated into the existing frame. Available in single or double water tanks. I’ve done a few of each and can easily quote on these two models. Available for other models however price will be depending on both style and mounting difficulties.

07.01.2022 Had a crack at my first boat tank. Nothing too complicated. I want a casting deck and the whole thing has to be a fuel tank he says. Any guesses as to how much it holds?

07.01.2022 Quad bike rust repairs. Located in Ayr nth Qld. These patches aren’t the prettiest but they are very strong and affordable. Typical in these Honda 250’s. For other examples of this and more complicated types of rust repairs check out the page.

02.01.2022 LOCATED in AYR Quad bike rust repairs. This Grizzly came in with the two bottom pipes rusted out. The bike was stripped down, rusted pipes cut out and replaced with 316 stainless, painted and reassembled. This is the eighth one of these I’ve done.
