25.01.2022 Had a great gig at the Hervey Bay RSL today, an excellent turnout of friends and familiar faces, even some dancing (still maintaining distance rules, of course) and very pleased it's an ongoing booking for every Friday 11:30am to 2:30pm.

24.01.2022 Big Friday coming up - HBRSL from 11:30am to 2:30pm, then Maryborough Sports Club from 7:00pm - dancing all the way! Friday 14th May

24.01.2022 Another busy weekend for me in the usual haunts: today at the RSL 12 - 3; tomorrow 1st Dec The Boat Club 5:30 - 7:30; Sunday 2nd Dec the Boat Club 1pm - 4pm; and of course back at the Boat Club on Tuesday for my resident 12pm spot. Keeps me off the streets...

23.01.2022 I am looking forward to playing at the RSL this Friday 17th at 12 p.m. and if it's anything like last months spot I will have a good bunch of friends who love to dance and enjoy great social interaction to party with.

22.01.2022 Here it is 9th March already and I haven't updated my Boat Club gig calendar so I will post April's as well. I am going to Darwin for 13 days in March and also Auckland for 13 days in April during this period so I will miss a couple of Tuesdays at the club but Neil will no doubt do a great job of filling in for me. March:... Tonight Fri 9 5:30 to 7:30pm Tuesdays 13th and 20th and that's it for March (away for Tues 27th) April: Tuesdays 3rd, 10th & 17th Friday 6th 5:30 to 7:30pm and that's it for April (away for Tues 24th) Then back to normal from Tuesday, May 1st - I will keep you posted... (a picture from 1984, when I was playing bass with Databand)

21.01.2022 Next Sunday 9th April is Mother's Day and if you are looking to take Mum out for lunch why not bring her to the Hervey Bay RSL - I will be playing songs from the '60s to the '90s to listen or dance to from 11:30am, and I do mean dance! As can be seen from our regular Friday lunchtime shows, we have a dance floor and no shortage of happy dancers! Hope to see you on Friday and Sunday Mother's Day.

Sunday 1:00pm to 4:00pm Live on stage, playing songs to dance to, sing to, listen to, drink to, zone out to, chill to, in fact, just-about-anything to... (no, not that!!) Cruise into Friday night with Trevor, followed by one of Hervey Bay's favourite club bands - Doug and the Upper Hand, playing from 8 'til late. Come for lunch on Sunday and cruise into the Lounge Bar for a relaxed afternoon's entertainment, you're sure to hear a song or two that will get you up dancing!!
