21.01.2022 Sandon Point is a renowned surfing landmark on the east coast of New South Wales. This view is from the beach in front of the sea wall adjacent to the Thirroul swimming pool. I made this observation on a squally winters day. The restricted tones and horizontal division of the composition particularly appealed to me. Oil on canvas 100x150cm.
