25.01.2022 Today Busters Grin ran a close 2nd in fast time, it was a heat/final series, so he's now qualified for the final to be run at Swan Hill on December 17. Cheers

24.01.2022 Mittyactor (Mauck) trialled to qualify to race tonight and won the trial. Here's a few photo's of him going onto the track and with Kev after the trial. Hope to have him racing in a couple of weeks.

23.01.2022 G'day everyone, hope you are all keeping safe. It's been a rough weekend for the Trots industry with the sad passing of one of the sports greatest ever horsemen, Gavin Lang. He was a champion on the track and we always found him to be a gentleman off it. On Monday night at Bendigo we have two runners engaged, R1 no.2 Pippa One Two at 5:50pm and R5 no.5 Busters Grin who will look to continue his good recent form at 7:54pm, with both horses having Alex Ashwood driving them tomorrow night. 22.01.2022 We've welcome little Archie into the world the last few days, he's a little ripper and foal and mother are healthy and well!!! Just on Friday night, Busters Grin ran a good 2nd after a hard run and Braghetta, although disappointing on the night, has come through the run ok and will be pressing forward and hopefully improves next time out.

22.01.2022 Today the stable has 2 runners at St. Arnaud in what is a big day for the family with race 1 being the Ron Patching memorial. Our two are both in the Ken Ward memorial which is race 7 on the program at 4:41pm. R7 no. 6 Hargrave: Ryan Duffy the driver R7 no. 8 Braghetta: Kima Frenning the driver

21.01.2022 Pippa One Two won the first race tonight, was a good tough win sitting 3 wide the last 1200 and getting there right on the line. 21.01.2022 Today the stable has Busters Grin in at Wedderburn. He is r4 no. 4 with Jackie Barker to drive with the racetime now being at 3:34pm. Good luck all!!

21.01.2022 Tonight we have Busters Grin in race 4 no. 8 with Jackie Barker to drive, the race is at 8:22pm. He's rated a good chance in the race so it would be great to get a winner on Bendigo Cup night if that was to happen.

19.01.2022 Really happy with Busters Grin's run first up a close up 3rd in a brilliant 1:53.8 mile rate which is a very fast time. He's recovered really well and we hope to have him running again soon.

15.01.2022 G'day everyone, hope all is well. Sunday at our old home track at Ouyen we have Busters Grin in race 2 no.8 at 1:29pm with Jackie Barker to drive. He's first up for 8 weeks but has had a trial last Sunday at Maryborough so should be ready to go. With all of this corona virus stuff happening in the world it's nice we're able to race at the moment albeit without crowds at meetings like these which is unfortunate but hopefully the bigger picture is ok down the track. Keep safe people.

14.01.2022 Probably not the results we wanted at Kilmore last night with Busters Grin galloping when in front and looking the winner at the 400 and Braghetta leading and finishing another narrow 2nd but that run has qualified him for the final to be run at Melton on Hunter Cup night which will be great to have a runner on such a big night. It's probably the equivalent of having a galloper in on Cox Plate Day. Although both horses were beaten as odds on favourites last night we still like them even though after their races they both looked like they'd been sent to the naughty corner

14.01.2022 G'day everyone, as alot of you probably know Busters Grin ran a narrow 2nd in a fast last 800 last night (Clocked his individual last 800 in 56.2), he was very well driven as he has been all of his starts this time in. We've had nearly 4 inches of rain this week and we were able to work Pippa and Mauck on the track today which is great, the dams and tanks are all full which is a massive positive and as soon as we all work together and beat this corona virus life will be pretty good again! Here's some photos of the farm today after all the rain as well as Buster eating up tonight, he's pulled up extremely well. Keep at home and keep safe everyone. Cheers.

14.01.2022 Braghetta being loaded onto the float yesterday after his narrow 2nd at Maryborough in a career best performance. He led yesterday and ran a 1:53.7 mile rate which is a brilliant run. A win is not to far around the corner as Trev is probably telling someone on the phone after the race!!

13.01.2022 Jimmy last night after his close up 3rd behind 2 top class horses in a 1:54.4 mile rate, which was by far the fastest for the night and he was extremely well driven by Darby McGuigan. We've never had a horse that can run these times, although it's frustrating he's not winning at the moment he's going extremely well and we're proud of the races he's running and the trainer still looks pleased with his run again!!

09.01.2022 Braghetta and Waiting For You ready for the hitout this morning. Really happy with Braghettas 2nd at Horsham, he's progressing really well, is racing again on Wednesday at Maryborough. Waiting For You had a small problem at Horsham but all seems well now and should be ready to go again soon, she does have ability we're hoping she'll surprise a few people at her next run.

07.01.2022 G'day everyone hope all are safe and well. It's a new era in the trots with regional racing coming into effect through the week which means you can only race in your region which is a great initiative to keep everyone as risk free and healthy as possible whilst still being able to go to work and race. Tonight we have Busters Grin in again race 1 no.7 at 6:45 with Haydon Gray to drive. Tough draw over a mile but we'll be giving it our best. Cheers everyone.

07.01.2022 A busy Queen's Birthday holiday at the stables this morning the first picture is of Mittyactor, a half brother to Busters Grin who is nearly ready to race, the second pic is a new acquisition for the stable, a brand new Missile race sulky which we picked up on Saturday and are really happy with and the third one is of Braghetta who has just come back into work and had a jog and a swim this morning.

06.01.2022 Today in very hot conditions we had Braghetta run 4th perhaps found the 2190m race a bit long but still went pretty well and Busters Grin who was first up since April 2017 went really well to narrowly go down to finish a half head 2nd, both horses were very well driven. Here's a pic afterwards of Buster and co having a look at what might've been!!! #handup.......

04.01.2022 Not much luck with Jimmy last night from the bad draw and copping a bit of interference down the back straight but wasn't disgraced in his efforts and the driver was actually quite optimistic about his performance.
