19.01.2022 My old band mates Tahnee and Rob have now officially moved back to Brisbane. I am a little bit sad - but they did the right thing for themselves and their young daughter, Georgia. We had such fun playing and recording for the last half a decade or so - including two albums I am very proud of - ‘Experts’ and ‘A History of Albanian Jazz’, as well as ensuing gigs in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Tahnee always knew the right thing to sing and came up with some cool keyboard li...nes. Rob always had surprisingly tasteful things to play for my silly pop songs (considering his penchant for metal and electronica.) Both of them were extremely patient when I would endlessly go over embryonic ideas for some songs that, in hindsight, were never really going to go anywhere. Life goes on, however, and the Hellraisers’ album launch at The Post Office Hotel will feature new Hellraiser Jane McCracken and long-time collaborator Patrick Bath. Audiences in Brisbane will be able to catch Tahnee, Rob and I at Brute’s when we play in early May. Hope to see you all there for one of the incarnations. Good luck for the future Tahnee and Rob.
