25.01.2022 This media console came with a little extra. In keeping with my environmental friendly philosophy, the console waste became two client gifts - a mid century inspired occasional table and a toddler box - a seat for their little one to enjoy an apple and milk morning tea perhaps and large enough to sit with a little friend after a busy morning at play. I think a lot about what I do and why. My work is heavily principled I would say. I always have the planet in mind, for one.... Along with this though, and for so many good reasons, I like to create legacy or heir loom pieces. Those that have the potential to accumulate their own good stories over time. I’m hoping that these 3 pieces have the chance to travel that path. 24.01.2022 In spite of it all, I still feel the need to keep chipping away at my craft. This 3000mm x 1200mm x 780mm dining table made from 100yo recycled timber landed in Brisbane over Easter without a hitch. The usual set of 6 gives an idea of design, feature and quality. 22.01.2022 It’s a bitsa dining table with raw colour like no other. The second image shows what I mean. Sourcing everything I can to reflect the environmental friendly sentiment within my work. 16.01.2022 My place to hunker down for awhile. A few elements of my creative work to remind me of things to look forward to. The screen is a recently completed work and comes with ceiling to floor flange connector sets finished in a matt black powder coat. I’m conflicted I have to say. How do you balance economic thinking in enabling the living of life when the preservation of life itself is being so completely tested. 09.01.2022 Completed today, this 12-14 seater is made of recycled oregon taken out of a large scale commercial refurbishment in central Victoria. The original building was first built in the 1880s. The table measures 2900mmX1000mmX750mm and is now available directly through me. I’d appreciate a pass on if you think someone in your world may have an interest - thanks

My own memories are sadly missing the detail these days, but the feelings remain strong. It was a happy place to be; to eat, talk, laugh, cry, play cards and drink a Fanta while the grown ups drank something with a little more kick to it whatever that meant. ...
