25.01.2022 An amazing story - one of Australia's greatest riders, yet one of the shortest Pro careers. Meet the first Australian to finish in the top ten of a Grand Tour, Garry Clively. Oh and he more than held his own against Merckx, De Vlaeminck, Gimondi, Maertens and Moser!
25.01.2022 Some say it's the most beautiful race on earth. Others think it the most treacherous. Tour de France 2020 | Aug 29 - Sep 20 on SBS
21.01.2022 20 year-old Remco Evenepoel moved into the lead at Vuelta a Burgos with a win on Stage 3. Here's his victory salute causing quite the stir. What do you think: for 'bah humbug, he's spoilt and brash' / for 'get a grip, he's just having fun'
21.01.2022 Despite our best efforts, talks have broken down and we have been unable to reach agreement, unfortunately magpies will continue with swooping this spring.
20.01.2022 Ruby Roseman-Gannon showed a combination of climbing legs and finishing power to win Day 3 of the women's NRS in Tyalgum. "I looked at this course today and I t...hought that it really suits me as I like the punchy climbs to weaken off the pure sprinters. I felt really good on the first lap, then on the second there were a few attacks and I felt I could hold them. It's probably the first time in the NRS that I've crested a climb with the climbers. To be aroudn riders like Justine (Barrow), Sarah (Gigante), Lizzie Stannard... I don't belong here. "On the descent, I didn't want to do too much as I needed to freshen up for the sprint and no one was too keen to work and the bunch caught. I took the inside line of the corner, unfortunately, Josie (Talbot) dropped her chain there but Sarah and I avoided it and I sprinted around Sarah at the end." Grace Brunton-Makeham animated the early stages of the race, but the peloton brought it all back together on the second lap of the Tyalgum loop. There were fireworks when the riders reached the steep, short climbs near the finish, with Bree Wilson of Roxsolt Attaquer p/b Liv & SRAM starting the attacks. A select group of climbers emerged over the top of the second climb, with a fast run into the finish from there, with Roseman-Gannon taking the win! 1. 20.01.2022 A long post-up celebration for Cam Scott! A late break by Lionel Mawditt (Cyclehouse) threatened to steal the stage after some action-packed climbs in the final...e, but Cameron Scott and his ARA-Pro Racing Sunshine Coast teammates were able to bring the race back for Scott to jump clear to take the win in convincing fashion. "Yeah, lucky for me it came down to a sprint at the end," said Scott. "There was one guy off the front at the end there and lucky for me I had still had two teammates coming over the top of the climb and they did a really good job to get that rider back and without them I wouldn't have won today. "I'm just really happy, especially after yesterday's shock. It gave me something a bit extra in the legs." Brendan Johnston retains the NRS individual lead with his third-placed finish on the stage, while Team BridgeLane strengthened their position in the overall teams' classification. Their lead is now 258 points, their 918 points accumulated ahead of second-placed ARA's 660. 1. Cameron Scott Australian Cycling Academy 2. Elliot Schultz MEMIL Pro-Cycling 3. 17.01.2022 As we are enjoying our second rest day of this year's Le Tour de France, here's a look at my first two weeks of racing, seen from inside the peloton. We still have another hard week ahead of us until the finish line on the Champs-Elysées in Paris.
17.01.2022 Primo Roglic in a league of his own (for the moment). Watch this video! He just rode everyone off his wheel. Staying in the seat. If he can maintain this condition till the end of the Tour de France, I cant see who could possible beat him. But caution: Le Tour cest Le Tour...
