25.01.2022 Not long now till the SWR Running Festival 2021. This event is on the "comeback" after Co Vid wiped out the 2020 race. Its now being Hosted by the Hat Head Triathlon club, and with this change comes a different line up to the weekend. Registration is still on Saturday and now the "Kids Races" have been changed to a GOLD COIN donation event at 3pm on Saturday. We are raising money for Dementia Australia and Local's James and Rennae Baker are hosting this 2km run from the Trial... Bay Camp kitchen area. Its a 2 lap course so if you onlt want to do 1 lap thats fine, no need to register, just roll up before 3pm with your friends or family and put in your Gold Coin for a great cause. There wont be any medals, just fun for all running for a great cause that involves many many Familys. The Sunday programme sees the Marathon starting 15 mins earlier than previous years to 6.45 am to help fit in our new 10 Plus event. Next off the bolcks is the 10km event, then the Half Marathon and the 5km rolls out last. The 5km course no longer turns up the fishermans trail but follows the same path as all the other races to keep you away from the very wet and muddy conditions up there. The long course 21.1km track also has a new section along the river on top of the breakwall. 22.01.2022 A belated 'THANK YOU' to all of the fantastic people in our community who kindly donated their time and effort to help us with the annual Coastline Credit Union Trial Bay Triathlon AND Nestle Junior Triathlon held on 13th & 14th February.
