23.01.2022 And we are back! It's been a while between our posts hasn't it?! The last couple of years have included lots of changes with Tribe Hunter and in particularly the last 12 months have been extremely busy working on regional outcomes in the Hunter. We are possibly the worst marketers of ourselves - it's our shy point - but are continually grateful for all of you who market us through word-of-mouth. Referrals are by far the best form of new enquiry because not only does it mean ...we did a great job to earn a referral but it also means the potential new client has already been convinced by one of you that we can help them (and saves us the sales pitch, we which aren't that fond of delivering). Our next post will be about some award winning news, then a new role available and from there we hope to keep talking with you more often and sharing some tips and tricks too. 22.01.2022 CAUTION: Long post! The news that we had won a gold medal at the 2020 NSW creative design and print awards caught us off guard, we could never have imagined.... so when we then heard we went on to win the gold at the 2020 National Print Awards we were sent into a state of shock. It's taken us a month to truly process what it means to win this amazing accolade. It's always been our goal to deliver captivating creative pieces, it's what floats our boat. With an over abundance ...of visual material coming at us every day there is no room for bland or meaninglessness. When we have a client who trusts and encourages us to be creative and think big it really helps the end result. Therefore a huge thank you to Daniel and Jane Maroulis of Boydell's, you believed in us and allowed our creative minds to wander. You understood our challenging vision of wanting to provide a printed window to your world which would welcome and connect with people and you went with it. This creative space of exploration both in our agency world and in the world of wine will be the difference. Watching your business go from blossoming to booming has been a highlight of the years just passed, keep doing what you are doing it's phenomenal (just like your wines). Which brings us to thank Who Presentations (Print) who also believed in the vision. We've been dealing with Who Presentations (Print) for 13 years and they never give up on even the trickiest of requests (and there were some big tricks to this project). Daniel and team, we are so grateful that you saw the potential to submit this brochure to the awards, you have given us the beautiful gift of recognition and reward for our sustained efforts in wanting to deliver clever creative. Forever grateful x And finally thank you to the entire Tribe for making this possible. From the photo shoot to the content, the design to the stock choice, every one at Tribe played a part. When we all work together for the good of the client we know we can produce miracles - and this brochure, with its intricate design and die cut, was absolutely a miracle piece. You are all the rockstars in the skies!

21.01.2022 Taking one last look at these creations before they go to storage. Each piece always holds such great memories with the team and clients. Sometimes the ideas flowed immediately, sometimes the words wouldn’t come, others the clients were not immediately convinced and for most of these designs the crazy ideas lead to fun photo shoots. That is why boxing these babies up for storage is always harder than it should be. A design is never just a design.
15.01.2022 We're very excited that we have a new team member, a marketing and communication's manager, who will be part time for the next six weeks and full time thereafter! Until she has completely transitioned from her current role we will be keeping her face and name secure but it is thrilling to have someone so clever, with years of experience in all areas of marketing and comms, to join us. KK (as we'll refer to her for now) has had a very cool retail store of her own - so she has... that first hand business owner experience - and has also worked in agencies, NFP's and commercial businesses in marketing, advertising, publicity and public relations roles. If you need press releases, brand or content strategies, product or service strategies, media management, digital media communications, website management, advertising copywriting or event organisation then KK is the woman for the job! When not at work you will find KK at an exhibition, live show, arthouse cinema or wandering around drinking coffee (sometimes swapped for champagne) and taking photos of architectural fine points. 11.01.2022 We're looking for someone pretty special. A new Comms and/or Marketing Manager to assist with great new projects. There is no limit to this role and its potential for growth. It's an easy way to live and work in a way which suits you, no more typical agency bulldust and you can do 90% of the work from just about anywhere.... Our clients are awesome people, doing important things in the world, and our main priority is our great communication and relationships with them. We deliver to a high standard, on budget and on time. We are always on the look out for what/who they might need next to keep their marketing and growth on or above target. We work hard but it doesn't feel like it because we love what we do and our clients are great to work with. We have a broad offering of services, which you can check out on our website and would expect that the new Manager coming on board has good experience in at least a few of these service areas. Being well organised and efficient in time management is definitely key to enjoying this role. 11.01.2022 Thank you to all the wonderful humans who have applied for the role of Designer to assist Shelly over her maternity leave and grow a role within Tribe Hunter. It has been so challenging to decide between so many talented applicants that we think we'll need a design-off to determine who to take forward to the next stage. Stay tuned on this one, it's time to have some fun! Also a big thank you to Christina who is picking up more work with us. You may remember Christina helped us previously with design, high level PR/media management and comms content and is not only majorly multi-skilled but also has the greatest personality. With a background in the big corporates she knows how to play for the big outcomes. If you need her skill set and personality influencing your business success then please let us know.
11.01.2022 How effective and efficient is your client communications strategy? Are your potential and existing clients engaged and growing their time/spend with you? Have you identified where and when your clients will be best reached and with which messages? There are many ways to create efficiency in your communications and it's all in the strategy around the content creation and re-purposing for various communications channels. To do this you need to have a plan and then be agile whe...n the market or business environment requires it. 08.01.2022 We are back and ready for 2020! Our first design meeting was this morning and we are so excited by all the cool stuff already on the table. It has been a strange start to this new decade for our nation, with much to mourn and to cherish - with so much strength and respect being found in each other. A new decade signals new beginnings, better ways of thinking and the ability to be more conscious in every thing we do. For most of us there is a strong sense of awareness of what... is really important and what we need to change to be better contributors, as well as to minimise our footprint on our environment. We hope this new year brings you a strong sense of direction so that you can contribute to the world in all your best and unique ways. If they have the options of a few brands offering the same products or services, it will most likely come down to how they perceive your value and your values. Likewise if they are already doing business with you but another option presents itself and the other company is better at presenting their brand and conveying their values effectively then your customer is more likely to shift elsewhere. ... For brands to succeed, it means skillfully attracting and building genuine relationships with people/customers in an authentic and transparent way. But if your company doesn't know who it is or how to communicate it, you can’t form those deeper relationships. Your brand strategy matters, just as much as your comms, content and marketing strategy, it should sit together with your business strategy. 06.01.2022 As some of you are aware the last few years have not seen our business director Xanthe Addison in the best of health with Ross River Fever and various resulting issues. This has meant that the Tribe Hunter books have been limited in capacity to take on new clients and even meant we were unable to service some of our previous (and much loved) clients/brands. While we have still been quietly kicking goals it hasn't been to the level we would have liked and we haven't been able ...to help as many of you as we had been in the years before. It's with great celebration that we announce Xanthe has, for a consistent period of time now, been well and in full energy again with just some minimal life changes as a lasting consequence. As you can imagine this is a huge relief and not something even Xanthe thought of as truly possible. Even more exciting, and as a result of Xanthe's good health, the doors of Tribe Hunter are now open again to numerous new and previous clients. Sometimes life throws us challenges to which we can see very little way to overcome but if we just take one step, then another, then another, all while trusting our own knowing/instincts/faith, we can get back on our feet again, even better for the challenge. Thank you to those of you who have been reaching out over the previous few years to check in on Tribe and Xanthe, it has made the world of difference to have your support.
