It was tough for these children to ask and get knocked back shop after shop, teaching resilience and determination. Here is a quick recap from a mix of a few podcasts I just listened to: things I wish I did differently and what I would do if I started a youtube channel from scratch:... Summary 1) Name my youtube channel my personal name or brand 2) fill out a complete about me section with links 3) cross reference to other places (dont keep all your eggs in one basket) 4) start collecting email address early on with opt ins 5) have a really short <3sec intro (in any) 6) have a consistent branded thumnail style 7) make titles and thumbnail description to build tension and click (not SEO keywords only) 8. make sure to state clearly at the begining ‘who is the content for, why am i making it, why you should care’. 9) care less about subscribers more about views, view time and sending viewers on a journey of information (think playlist, end cards) 10. Build tension and anticipation in video, think about story 11. Build connections with views.
