25.01.2022 Bands are great to use during your workouts as they can provide tension over the whole range of motion unlike the Dumbbells and Barbells Have you ever used a EZ bar to perform a bicep curl? You'll know that when you reach the top of the movement its easy to hold the EZ bar there for an extended period of time (here the bicep can actually relax as other muscles like the shoulders can help stabilise the weight) ... Imagine what it would be like if you had a band attached to the bar and it was pulling the weight back down, you wouldn't have time at the top of the range to let your muscle switch off. This is where the band can add in the constant tension over the whole range of motion
