23.01.2022 Last week was all about pale blues and cool greys. Not sure yet what this week will be about.

22.01.2022 It's a rainbow on the rack. You know what that means, Greinbow mini sets restocked in the new year! I'm still having trouble sourcing minis at the moment. Also it looks like DK will be in short supply until around March. Fingers crossed it's sooner than that.

20.01.2022 I have just received a happy yarn delivery of undyed Honeysuckle High Twist and Sullies Silky Singles, which means I have reopened dyed-to-order on both bases! Pictured is Milky Way on Honeysuckle High Twist.

19.01.2022 Oh. My. Word. Knitters, crocheters, weavers, yarnies, you showed UP! It has taken me a couple of days to resurface after the Capital Region Yarn & Fibre Showcase on Sunday. I have to admit I underestimated you all, with COVID and travel and the rain. I shouldn't have! I see now nothing will get between a yarnie and a yarn show, especially after the drought we've had. Thank you so so much for coming, it was a wonderful day. And thank you to all the hard working guild volunteers. As you no doubt will have worked out, there was a last minute decision to move me and most of the other outdoor vendors inside. So, setup was a bit rushed and I didn't get any photos (again!). Hence the gratuitous Cannoli content. Oh well. I guess I'll have to go back. #capitalyarnandfibreshowcase #cbrfibreshowcase #knittersguildnsw #dachshundsofinstagram

18.01.2022 First day back at yarny work after two weeks away! I've just reopened the shop and restocked dyed-to-order Honeysuckle High Twist and Sullies Silky Singles. I was hoping to start working on restocking Greinbow and Southern Lands mini sets, but unfortunately there's a shortage with my supplier, so they'll have to wait a bit. Instead, today will be mostly dry work, even if I'd rather spend the day drinking coffee and working on my blanket.

15.01.2022 There's been a pause in granny blanket making to make this little fella. The baby shower was yesterday so now I can post it. Pattern: Ulysses Butterfly by @lalylaland Yarn: Bendigo Woollen Mills Classic... Super fun clever pattern. I had to make a couple of small mods. I did ten rounds less for the band, and did an extra round on the wing cover.

07.01.2022 The yarn wall is FULL! Only one more sleep until the Capital Region Yarn & Fibre Showcase. I'll be outside in the Rose Garden under a marquee. Bring your favourite gumboots and brolly because there is some rain forecast but please don't let that stop you coming out and supporting your favourite local producers and makers. Now I need to pack all these into the car for tomorrow. See you there! #capitalyarnandfibreshowcase #cbrfibreshowcase #knittersguildnsw

05.01.2022 It wouldn't be Canberra without some Skywhale! I'm going to have lots of Skywhale yarn at the Capital Region Yarn & Fibre Showcase next weekend, including some sock sets. I've decided to drop the Tits Out Collective branding from this collection. As awesome as it was I think the world has moved on. This will now be known as the Skywhale Mini-collection, and If I Want Exposure I'll Get My Tits Out (Skywhale Edition) will now be known simply as Skywhale. I will however continue... to donate $5.50 from each skein of Skywhale sold to @karinyahouse. So, L-R on the rack is Flying Cetacean Nipples, and Skywhale. #skywhales #capitalyarnandfibreshowcase #knittersguildnsw

02.01.2022 Hey yarnies! After a very long wait, Molonglo Merino DK is finally back in stock and I have opened up dyed to order on this base. This is the colourway Grevillea, with some Picnic lurking in the back.

01.01.2022 Purples this week. Arcane, Dusk and Royal Bluebell. I'll be closing the online shop on Monday 21 Dec for a break over Christmas, reopening early Jan.
