25.01.2022 Today is 'Love Your Bookshop Day'. Love Your Bookshop. If you can, please take the opportunity to show your local shop how much you appreciate them. It's been an especially tough year and so many have gone above and beyond to make sure we've all still got books to read. Today I'm sending a special shout out to all those booksellers helping with The Family Inheritance tour. Thank you to Meg's Bookshop, Westbooks, Kadina Newsagency Dymocks Adelaide, Shakespeare's Bookshop, Matilda Bookshop, Ardrossan Newsagency, newsxpress beers port lincoln. Have a great day!

25.01.2022 So true and if you can't do it in person there's so much technology that makes it easy.

24.01.2022 The weather is all sunshine one day and rain the next but my garden seems to be enjoying the changeable spring weather.

24.01.2022 A shout out to kindle readers. Something in the Wine is on Daily Deal just for today 6th October at $2.99. https://www.amazon.com.au/Something-Wine-Trici//B07K37V749

23.01.2022 Enjoyed some R&R in Adelaide for a few days. Nice to be a tourist. Very lucky to enjoy some fine wine and dine experiences. Thanks ORSO and Oval Hotel, Bespoke Wine Bar & Kitchen. Great staff and dining experiences. Back to reality now!

22.01.2022 Only 3 more sleeps!

21.01.2022 October's calendar message is perfect for the month my thirteenth book takes flight. Special local launch tonight and then next Wed 7th of October The Family Inheritance will be taking flight from bookshops everywhere. Happy dance.

17.01.2022 All set to watch a good Christmas movie here. Wherever you are, whatever you're doing, hope it's a good one.

17.01.2022 Back in 2002 I met the delightful Monica McInerney after reading and enjoying her first book. I told Monica I was writing and she's encouraged me ever since. Not only is she a talented story teller but she's a wonderful supporter of other writers. Today I want to say a big public thank you and congratulate Monica on the release of The Godmothers, her thirteenth book. I know I'm going to love it and I'm sure you will too.

16.01.2022 I've been receiving some lovely feedback from readers and some have photos to go with their words so I thought I'd share with you. On Insta staceyandemmett put up this photo and said "Tricia Stringer has definitely penned a winner with this story, it was beautiful and endearing and I loved the generational approach."

13.01.2022 Great deal for Kobo readers. 'Come Rain or Shine' is part of Kobo’s Hidden Gems promotion at $1.99 until October 11. https://bit.ly/36whhuM

12.01.2022 Speaking of taking a road trip...here's one my clever publisher Harlequin Australia put together using locations from several authors books. It includes two of mine, Something in the Wine and Come Rain or Shine. To find about about 'The Great Rural Romance Road Trip' and all the books, visit https://www.romance.com.au/the-great-rural-romance-road-t/ Romance.com.au

12.01.2022 I didn't think I suffered from this...but then I looked at the many book shelves and piles around my house.

09.01.2022 Last night was the local pre-launch for The Family Inheritance in my home town. What a fabulous turn out. Sending a big thank you to all those who could come along. Next week on the 7th will be the rest of the world launch live on the Better Reading Facebook page. Look forward to telling you all about my new book then.

09.01.2022 Woke up to a blaze of light at 3am! Not an epiphany but the power restored to our home. Ever so grateful to those who worked through the night to allow me to have a cup of coffee this morning.

09.01.2022 This made me laugh, hope it brings a smile for you too.

09.01.2022 Staying home has silver linings. I'm preparing my summer newsletter and it's going to be a bumper. Have had lots of requests for the jelly cake recipe so that will be included. Had a recent baking session with my daughter to test the process again. Still not quite as good as my dear Aunty's jelly cakes but close. If you're not signed up and you'd like to receive my quarterly newsletter with news, behind the scenes snippets, giveaways and more, you can join at the top of my FB page or over on my website.

08.01.2022 Gosh this Spring weather is certainly changeable but makes some great colourscapes. Great backdrop for my pink Buddleia bush. Looking forward to more sunshine again this week. Hope yours is a good one wherever you are.

08.01.2022 Next week on the 19th of November I'll be at Meg's Bookshop, Port Pirie, 11am till 12 noon, to meet readers and sign books. Margie and Mark have been fabulous supporters of my SA tour providing book stock for many events and I'm looking forward to visiting them and their customers. Meg's has also offered to post signed copies of 'The Family Inheritance' to readers in other parts of Australia in time for Christmas. If you'd like a signed copy delivered to your door ring (08) 8632 1590 and pay ($24.99 for the book and $8.90 postage) before the 19th. My publisher Harlequin Australia has also offered to post copies of 'Table for Eight' and 'The Model Wife' to one lucky purchaser so you could end up with three books for the price of one! Hope to see lots of local readers at Meg's next week.

07.01.2022 And just like that it's December! For those who are counting it's only 24 sleeps till Christmas.

06.01.2022 Can't believe release day is almost here! Tomorrow you should be able to find copies of The Family Inheritance in book shops and online. Looking forward to holding a virtual launch via Better Reading FB live. 8pm AEST.

06.01.2022 **RESCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY DECEMEBER 3RD** I'm sorry to have to postpone my signing session at Meg's Bookshop tomorrow. In SA we've all been asked to stay home which is absolutely the safest and best thing to do. I have not cancelled though. Working with Mark and Margie to make sure I can reschedule as soon as we are able. Best to all.

06.01.2022 We will remember them.

05.01.2022 Have just read Chrissie Bellbrae's 5 star review of The Family Inheritance. Thank you Chrissie, what a great start to the week. Chrissie said..."There is no doubt that THE FAMILY INHERITANCE perfectly displays the expertise of Tricia Stringer’s writing. She’s a wonderful author whose books are a delight in every way. These characters are vivid, the day-to-day life concerns are simplistic, yet highly emotive, and this type of family relationship could be happening to a family next door in fact, more than likely, it probably is!" If you'd like to read Chrissie's review in full, follow the link to her blog. https://www.chrissiebellbrae.com/po/the-family-inheritance

02.01.2022 Just in case you have nothing to do I'm sharing a video interview I did with my publisher, Jo Mackay, a while back. During October, The Family Inheritance, was book of the month in a FB group called The Book Stack. It is an inclusive community of passionate readers who want to read quality fiction across a wide range of genres and connect with other book lovers. There are some great discussions, reading suggestions and giveaways. The group is closed which means you have to ask to join but any readers are welcome. This interview was only seen by The Book Stack members but I have permission to share it with you now. With thanks to the staff at Streaky Bay School Community Library who found me a spot to record in as I was on the road touring at the time.

02.01.2022 Storm passed quickly. Left us with no power. Hope its back by the time I need my morning coffee!!
