21.01.2022 Whos pumped for Comp 4 this weekend? It was great to see a huge increase in groms in the judging tent last comp - well done team! Be sure to have the live heats app to keep an eye on your results and heat times on the day - TJBR is now paperless. ... Be sure to bring a big bag of cash to purchase raffle tickets and snags from The Chad on the BBQ, he will be sporting a fresh new pair of tongs. Lucky guy! 20.01.2022 What a day! The last comp of the year couldn’t have been any better (ok maybe some slighter bigger and more frequent waves but hey...). Yesterday down the beach truly emulated what TJBR is all about. It was awesome to see groms big and small coming together to have a blast in and out of the surf. ... The TJBR community coming together forging friendships, encouraging a positive sportsmanship and surfing culture is what we’re here for. Congrats to all our groms and their families on an epic day on the beach! 19.01.2022 Our very own @skyla.tothill will be leading the charge at the nudie Australian Boardriders Battle at Trigg Beach tomorrow, against 6 boardrider clubs from across WA. Skyla, who recently came 2nd in the Girls u16s at the Gracetown Groms event, is captaining the TJBR team including Travis Barkhuizen, Jake Scott, Riley Reeves, John Scott, Luka Moore and Jack Lacey. The action kicks off at 8am and it would be amazing to see some of our TJBR groms and their families there to support our team!

18.01.2022 Just 4 more sleeps until our comp at Lancelin yewww! The comp will be held just south of Back Beach but keep an eye on our socials because peak locations are subject to change pending conditions. (Please also note the hospital route map in case of an emergency). Registrations are still open via @live_heats but close tomorrow at 4pm.... The presentations will be held at Back Beach or the adjoining carpark (out of the wind) after the comp finishes. Remember to bring some cash for the @surfinmentawais raffle and for the sausage sizzle. 15.01.2022 LANO COMP CANCELLED Hey crew, a whale carcass has washed up in Lancelin and the beaches have been closed. Unfortunately, our Pres has had to make the hard decision to cancel the comp there this weekend due to the risk. We wanted to let you all know asap so that you can try and cancel your accommodation. ... We are currently negotiating with the Stirling Council to run the comp at Trigg this weekend and will keep you posted about the progress.
