07.01.2022 Here I am in all my very round 30 week pregnant glory doing a workout by @bodyfitbyamy. I wanted to share this because she's the only online trainer I've found that I trust my fitness with throughout pregnancy, aside from myself of course.... I know, I could write my own programmes to do at home but honestly I'm just like the rest of you. I don't want to have to think about it. I like that I can turn on YouTube and be told exactly what to do . I find it far more motiva...ting than trying to tell myself what to do! I need all the motivation I can get because I'm growing another human and I'm hot, tired and anaemic . In saying that I feel so much more energised even if I only do 10 minutes of exercise and that's super important when I have a very energetic 3 year old to entertain Now, before you embark on any exercise programme while pregnant it's important you get the ALL CLEAR from your obstetrician or other health professional and LISTEN to your body. While pregnant the aim is to maintain some strength, keep moving and remain mobile. Now is NOT the time to seek gains or lose weight. You need to monitor your exertion and again LISTEN to your body . Move to feel good There are certain movements you are unable to perform while pregnant and these change as you progress throughout pregnancy. That's why it's important to seek professional help if you are unsure. You want to move safely and with correct form all the time but especially while pregnant. Yours and bubs safety are the number one priority . I'm definitely here to help you with that if you'd like some professional guidance. I'm so passionate about movement and safe movement!
