25.01.2022 As many of you may be aware, there are reports of extremely distressing content being shared on the social media platform, Tik Tok. We understand that many of our students have access to this platform via their personal devices and we ask that parents and carers monitor your childs use of the platform and remain vigilant for any signs of distress while this matter is being addressed. Please contact the College if you have any concerns.

23.01.2022 At this stage we are not aware of any further Covid-19 cases amongst our school community and thank you all for taking steps to limit the spread of the disease in Colac. Our close contacts identified by DHHS will undergo a second test on Tuesday. At this stage we plan to re-open on Aug 3, but will monitor the situation in Colac this coming week. The safety of students and staff is our priority. Please continue to stay home and stay safe and use face masks and gloves if you need to go out.

23.01.2022 Pyjama Day will be held on Friday - come dressed in a pyjama theme - ugg boots, beanies, bed socks, onsies, oddies. Please bring a gold coin as part of joining in the fun. This money will be utilised by St Vincent De Paul to directly assist those experiencing homelessness in our community this winter. What an easy and effective opportunity this is to support those in need, with a student cohort of over 700 students a little bit from everyone will dramatically help others. Hot chocolates with milky, yummy, marshmallowy goodness will be sold on Friday for $2 and will also go towards this cause. Unfortunately the Winter Sleepout will need to be postponed until Term 3.

23.01.2022 Lets all do the right things and help keep Colac safe. Thanks to Andy at Roseneath Creative for pulling this together.

21.01.2022 Today we hosted a Pyjama Day to support the Vinnies Winter Appeal. Dressing for comfort was the obvious choice and these Year 7 students made the most of it!

20.01.2022 The State Government has outlined a return to school timeframe for regional areas that will see remote learning continue for the remainder of this Term and in the first week of Term 4, 5 9 October. VCE and VCAL students can only attend on-site for essential assessments during that week, including the General Achievement Test (GAT) on Wednesday 7 October. All students (from Prep to Year 12) return to full-time on-site schooling by Friday 16 October. Schools can stage the return of different year levels as appropriate during that week. We will provide further information to families as the details become available. Stay home and stay safe everyone.

19.01.2022 LIVING BELOW THE LINE - A group of Trinity College Year 12 students is participating in the Live Below The Line initiative this week. The students are eating just $2 worth of food each day for five days, to represent the often overlooked poverty in a country such as Australia. These students have a donation page on the Live Below the Line website (look for TCC Year 12), where donations go towards educating youth in poverty stricken areas to help their communities become healt...hier and more economically stable. However, they do understand the financial hardship many are facing in this time and are more than happy to just spread awareness and inform the community. Trinity students taking part in this initiative include Mikaela Vuzem, Alina Bright, Tamsyn Bright, Belle Brylow, Jem Saravanja, Jessica Box and Meg Nelson. Today is hump day so keep up the good work guys! See more
