25.01.2022 It is with quite some sadness, that we are unable to meet together in public worship, or at other times through the week. At the same time, the whole body of Christ Christian people of all time are deeply and continually connected in our fellowship in Jesus Christ. The worship of the whole people of God is constantly happening before his throne, and we are always a part of that.... The ministry, worship, prayer and pastoral care of Trinity Southport continues, albeit in a different way at this time. During this time where we are required to keep physical distance from one another, Trinity Southport will be continuing its congregation life, service and ministry together in the following ways: * Phone and Internet contact with one another * Worship Services of the Word published and distributed * Prayer vigil in our homes and by the Pastor * Providing support and assistance for others * Meetings, and virtual gatherings using internet technology * Constant sharing in the word of God, both privately and in virtual spaces * Resources for families with young children * Providing updates from our congregation and the wider Lutheran Church of Australia * Access to video presentations and recorded worship. * Pastor may be contacted through email, phone, facebook. If you are in the Gold Coast region, and you want to make contact with this church, please contact us through the details listed here or via our website: www.trinitysouthport.com We continue to pray for this community and the world at this time. God give you peace during these anxious and tense times, God bless your homes and those in your life God keep you safe and sustain you in faith, hope and love. Pastor William Heidrich

20.01.2022 Welcome Back We are happy to announce that we are resuming public worship on Sunday July 12th . There will be two services: 8:30am and 10:30am, each with Holy Communion and taking no longer than an hour. ... If you have any questions or concerns about attending our worship service, please contact us. If you are wanting to take part but are unable to attend because of health, symptoms, isolation or you are not yet ready to be in a group of people, let us know so that we can make arrangements to be in contact with you. Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come into his presence with singing. Know that the Lord is God. It is he that made us, and we are his;[a] we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, bless his name. For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations. (Psalm 100)

16.01.2022 There will be no public worship service held on Sunday March 22nd. This replaces the previous post. 13.01.2022 Christmas Worship. We are pleased to be celebrating Christmas in Worship at Trinity Southport. Our worship times are: Christmas Eve, 7pm (Carols) and Christmas Day, 9am (Worship with Holy Communion). With the new requirements, we are able to accommodate about 75 in the church building and about the same in the hall annexed to the church (including Audio/visual in the hall). While not necessary at this stage, if you know that you are coming to any of the services, it will help us if you let us know, so that we can make preparation. Please message us through facebook or contact us at: [email protected] God bless.

04.01.2022 Please note: Worship: will be on Sunday March 22nd at 8:30am. Space requirements will be respected. There will be no Holy Communion offered. No morning tea or Sunday School. Meetings:... Other weektime meetings will be cancelled unless otherwise notified. Plans: Watch this space for further notifications. We are preparing a ministry and pastoral care plan so that our church fellowship and worship life continues albeit in a different way in this climate. We ask: If you are unwell, displaying symptoms, vulnerable to health issues to stay at home. Contact your church so that there can be pastoral support and contact during this time. Please note our Premier's urging that people stay at home: https://www.abc.net.au//coronavirus-queensland-40/12070904 While our public worship options are limited at this stage, the worship of the whole Christian people continues every day as we are around the Word of God, and as we share in the heavenly fellowship of the whole people of God. God bless
