17.01.2022 Rev Raylph Mayhew, Minister at Burleigh Village Church and Peggy Chigeza from the Methodist Church MCZ Brisbane Fellowship/West End joined Trinity College Queen...sland Ministry Candidates in opening the second day of the 35th Synod in Session with worship and Bible Study. Trinity College Queensland Ministry Candidate Emma Nicolls shared this prayer of intercession during this morning's worship and Bible study. "Father God, we bring to mind those we know who are lost and struggling in the brokenness of their situation. You know Lord, how today especially, there are so many people who feel a deep sense of meaninglessness in their lives. In this moment we prayer for people everywherecommunities and individualswho are unable to hear you calling them to yourself; who do not know who you really are; and those who have never heard or understood the truth of your gospel and how it could transform them from the inside out. We pray that you would open their hearts and minds to see your love present in us, your church. We ask that you would empower us to embody and speak your truth in ways that really make sense to people. Teach us to grow and welcome everyone no matter who they are or where they have come from into your loving family. 17.01.2022 There will be no worship service at Trinity tomorrow - there are new restrictions in place and we believe it is in the best interest of all our families and their loved ones, as well as the wider community, not to come and share worship together. Do church at home and we hope we will be back to share worship together on the 30th. We are recording the service to send out.

14.01.2022 The Shed (Thrift Shop) will now be open on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from September, as well as our normal every Thursday morning. Opening times are 9am till 12 noon. 47 Marlborough Road, Wellington Point.... COVID safe plan in place, self distancing required. Come and join us!

Loving God, as people of faith have prayed and lived out for eons we seek to love you with all of our hearts, all... of our souls and all of our minds. During this month that is focussing on mental health we realise that our minds are a huge part of who we are as individuals and who we are as followers of you. 06.01.2022 Trinity has been blessed by community workers for the past 12 months and they have assisted with the grounds and the community garden. Unfortunately, the little bar fridge used to store their food and water has finally stopped working. If you have one that you do not need and would like to donate that would be wonderful - the size is to fit under a bench (84cm high) - and be around 54cm wide with a depth of 56cm. We are also looking for timber potting benches and timber benches for sitting on - our last one was stolen from the garden. If you have any to donate, we are here Tuesday morning 9-11am and Thursday mornings (8-12md) or you could email [email protected]

04.01.2022 The Shed at Trinity Uniting Church 47 Marlborough Road Wellington Point is having a huge sale on Saturday 29th May from 8am. Plenty of bargains to be had. There will be things in the Church hall and The Shed and plants too. The Shed is also open every Thursday from 9 to 12 noon, and 1st and 3rd Saturdays from 9 to 12 noon.

02.01.2022 Trinity Uniting Church Thrift Shop - we are OPEN again Trinity Thrift Shop, 47 Marlborough Rd Wellington Pt is reopening on Thursday 9 July 9am-12md. Please park in the church car park and walk to The Shed... located behind the church hall. Disability parking is available near the hall. We would love to have you all visit again as there are many bargains and a good range of winter clothing for this current season. Like everywhere else at the moment, there are COVID-19 restrictions in place. Please do not come if you have a cold or feel sick as we would have to ask you to leave. There will be a limited number in the shop at any given time and we ask that you adhere to all mandated practices for physical gatherings, especially the 1.5 social distancing guideline. We value your patience with these new guidelines in place and are looking forward to welcoming you back to Trinity Thrift Shop. Any inquiries to Eve at [email protected]
