25.01.2022 From Millie; The culture, the people, the history, the country. Cambodia is an incredible place and this trip has been an incredible opportunity, it is not often that you are given the chance to travel across the globe, volunteer and experience an entirely different place at the age of 16. My time on this trip has been nothing but inspiring. The people of Cambodia have had some of the worse things happen to them, and now they work endless days for some a maximum profit of $3 daily yet despite all the darkness, they strive to learn, they honour their religion, and best of all there is no one ever short of a smile!! I have learnt so much on this trip, and have heard so many stories I am sure to tell back home. This trip truely has been a trip of a lifetime and I couldn’t be more grateful to share this experience with people I have.

18.01.2022 A Final Reflection for the 2019 T2C trip. When you’re doing what you love, you shine from within! As we are about to leave Kampuchea (Cambodia) and finish our service trip over here I want to share this reflection; ... This trip truly has been a ‘trip of a lifetime’. What you experience on the T2C service trip you will not get on any Contiki tour. There’s so many opportunities to immerse yourself in the Khmer way of life, history & culture, all the while contributing to the NGOs that work to make Cambodia an even greater nation. We all laughed, cried, felt empathy and experience moments of great pride and gratification. Two weeks in Cambodia has changed the way i see myself & my world, & has helped to define exactly what I’m passionate about & what is important to me. I look forward to being in the T2C team again in 2020 and hope to hear from any interested Trinity students early next year. Thanks to the incredible 2019 T2C Team (& families). You helped me make some incredible memories that I’ll carry with me forever. The collage of photos below are of some of the people I met, who have humbled me and inspired me to be an even greater human.... their beauty was evident in their very nature, their smile and their joy. 17.01.2022 Can’t believe this time last week we were getting ready to fly home - well getting ready for a long wait at the airport! From Mia: This experience has really changed the way I look at my life, I see things here and think ‘Wow I am so fortunate and grateful for the things I have.’ The basic things we take for granted are the things these people could only wish for. This country is so beautiful and so are the people, the way they smile at you and the way they greet you will definitely leave a permanent smile on your face. This country has taught me so much and I’m so grateful I got the opportunity to do this. Learning the culture and history of Cambodia will stay with me and will never be forgotten. I will cherish and remember this trip for ever, it’s truely a once in a lifetime experience.
13.01.2022 From Emily: I wanted to go to Cambodia ever since I heard about it and it was such a good journey with people I have never sat down with or spoken to before. To push yourself that much is such a good thing and I got a lot out of the trip, things I will always keep with me - I have changed for the better from this trip

08.01.2022 From Elise: I have wanted to do this trip for ages. I’m so grateful for this opportunity as I have had a great time, learnt a lot and made friendships that will be cherished. I have seen some confronting things but also seen the growth and rebirth of the country, which is very inspiring. It has taught me that little things in life that we sometimes think are really bad don’t really matter. Being thankful for everything that is given to you is key. Live in the future and learn from the past. It was a beautiful experience with great people and would do it all again in a heart beat.
06.01.2022 From Emilee: Cambodia has been such an amazing experience with memories and friendships which i will cherish forvever. I always thought about going on this trip but never thought I would actually go. Cambodia is such a beautiful country full of lovely and happy people. This trip has taught me so much not only through learning about what this country has gone through like the Khmer Rouge and how they continue to live happily but it also taught me to be grateful for the life I live and the things which I easily take for granted. I am so thankful to have been given the opportunity to come on this trip with such amazing people
