25.01.2022 Just a reminder that church is online today: 9am, 10.30am, 5pm and 7pm, including our Mandarin gathering. Just go to www.trinitycity.church and follow the links. (P.S. If it asks you to log in or sign in, just ignore it and barge on in :)) There will also be Zoom chats after each gathering, and there are kids resources on our website. See you there!

24.01.2022 As a child, Cassidy was curious about everyone else’s beliefs, because she didn’t have any of her own. By her late teens, Cassidy was experiencing fears and insecurities, and feeling lost and lonely, not knowing what she wanted to do in life. Her best friend from primary school invited her to church, and she started to attend church and explore the Bible. Watch this video to hear Cassidy’s story. ’I started falling in love with God when he started listening to me, and when ...I started to talk to him I felt his presence the first time I felt that, I was blown away, I was brought to tears because it was so awesome and so emotional ... it was something I’d never felt before, and I felt like I started to belong to God. I started to feel like I had my place in the world. I started to feel like he was starting to show me my purpose, and I wasn’t lost any more, I was found.’ See more

22.01.2022 Just a reminder that church will be all online this Sunday: 9am, 10.30am, 5pm and 7pm. There will also be kids resources. Just go to the website and follow the links: www.trinitycity.church. This Sunday, we'll be looking at God's heart for world mission and his passion to see all people know Jesus. Come along! We'll let you know as soon we can when we'll all be back to live Sunday gatherings. Watch this space.

21.01.2022 'Isaiah has come face-to-face with this glorious King, he has been forgiven, he's been covered. And if like Isaiah we come face-to-face with the King of the Universe, the holy, holy, holy, glorious God, well we have no other response but to give him our whole lives, to praise him, to hand over everything we do to him. To let God call the shots on what jobs we take, on what we do with our retirement, on what plans we have for after we finish studying. To call the shots on what we invest in, to let God be the King over our relationships, who we date, who we marry, who we work with, how we view our parents, how we view our grandparents, how we treat our siblings, how we treat our neighbours. God is King. Is he your King?' - Tim Blagg Watch the full sermon: https://bit.ly/2HZ1HNJ

20.01.2022 As you know, hard lockdown is now over, and we’re back to 4m2 and church services of no more than 100 being allowed. However, like last Sunday, this Sunday 29 November all our gatherings will still be online, not in person. This is because there is still a COVID cluster and we want to protect people. It is also because a church of our size meeting in our building with the 4m2 rule is not practical. So please come to one of our online gatherings at 9am, 10.30am, 5pm or 7pm, ...or to the Mandarin Gathering (www.trinitycity.church). We’ll also be trying something new this week with our stream, so watch this space! There will also be family resources. We hope these restrictions will be lifted soon and that we’ll be able to meet in person again in the near future. We’ll let you know as soon as we can do that. In the meantime, thanks for your love and care for each other, and your patience as you wait. I’m so thankful to God that he has put us in such good shape as a church to face events like this. God bless, Des Smith, Senior Pastor

20.01.2022 As you’ll know from today’s news, new cases of COVID-19 have emerged in Adelaide in the last 24 hours. As such, new restrictions will come into force at midnight tonight, including ones that will affect how we gather this Sunday, as well as affect some of our mid-week ministries. As a Network and church, we’ve always known this would be a possibility, and so have been planning for it. We’ll finalise those plans and let you know them in detail very soon. In the meantime, we ha...ve a sovereign and loving God, and so can trust he will care for us through this. However, we also realise this new development may have made some of us anxious, so if you’d like to talk to someone, please give us a call. We’re praying for you and our whole city during this time. We’ll be in touch with more details about plans for this week very soon. God bless, Des

19.01.2022 If you haven't heard already, Stephen Urmston is joining us next year as our new Children's Pastor. This is great news! Praise God. Here is a short video from Stephen, Sarah and the kids saying thank you and looking forward to coming here. Please be praying for the Urmstons as they prepare, and for us that we'll make them feel really welcome.

17.01.2022 Trinity people: you really don't want to miss church today! We recorded it live for 9am and will be streaming it now for the rest of the day and it was AMAZING. 10.30am, 5pm and 7pm: www.trinitycity.church. And if you're not already part of a church, super-welcome to come too!

16.01.2022 Just a quick note after our first full day in lockdown. Church is online this Sunday at 9am, 10.30am, 5pm and 7pm, including our Mandarin Gathering. We'll also have Zoom catch-ups after each gathering. Just go to our website: www.trinitycity.church. In the meantime, here's a great article on selfcare during lockdowns: https://www.mentalhealthinstitute.org.au//staying-mentally

13.01.2022 In the light of today's press conference, I'm just giving you an update on how COVID restrictions will affect church this Sunday. Even though restrictions will have eased by Sunday, church will still be online, not in person (9am, 10:30am, 5pm, 7pm, Mandarin: www.trinitycity.church. There will also be Zoom chats afterwards and family resources available). This is because, even before the lockdown had been announced, we had already decided to move to online gatherings this we...ek. This is because there is still a COVID cluster and we want to love people by protecting them. It is also because a church of our size meeting in our building with the 4m2 rule is not practical. We’ll monitor the situation and see how it affects church on Sunday 29 November, as well as our other ministries. We’ll let you know what’s happening as soon as we can. In the meantime, can I say how encouraged I’ve been by how people at church have been responding to all this? People have been caring, patient and kind, and it’s just been a joy to see. So thank you, and please keep praying for our city and each other, that God would be glorified through all this, his people grown in godliness, and that people would come to know him. God bless, Des Smith, Senior Pastor

11.01.2022 We recently had the joy of baptising four people and celebrating their faith in Jesus! If you're interested in learning about Jesus, check out www.trinitycity.church/jesus.

09.01.2022 This Sunday, we're continuing our series in Isaiah. Come along! And a reminder: because all our gatherings are now back onsite each week, from this Sunday onward our online service will move to the Network online platform (www.trinity.church/online). This will be on at 9am and 10am. Some of the faces will be different, but it will continue the Isaiah series.

09.01.2022 '... we know we're guilty of pride. But the great news of Jesus is that you can be forgiven for your pride and you no longer need to feel guilty for your past mistakes.' - Des Smith Watch the full sermon: https://bit.ly/31Ou8oZ

07.01.2022 I’m just writing to let you know about the effect the restrictions announced today will have on church. For the next six days, Adelaide is in lockdown. As such, we’ll have no physical gatherings of any sort. Church will be online at 9am, 10.30am, 5pm and 7pm. There will also be an online Mandarin gathering. These will be our own, Trinity Church Adelaide streams. Just go to our website (www.trinitycity.church) on Sunday and follow the links. After that six days, we’re not sure... what restrictions will be in place. So, until further notice, we’ll continue to gather online on Sundays rather than in person. We’ll keep you regularly updated on any changes. This is a huge shock to our system. Many of us will be worried about what the next six days - and beyond - will hold for us. So please be in prayer for each other and ready to reach out to help. This will be a great chance to show practical love to our church and wider community. But please also give thanks for the wonderful ways our God has cared for us. It’s been great this year seeing how God has been at work among us, bringing people to himself and closer to each other, despite - and even because of - these challenges. So we’re confident that, whatever happens during this time, God will use it for his glory and our good. Let’s continue to put our trust in him. Please let us know if there are any ways we can help. And see you Sunday online. God bless, Des

01.01.2022 'In Jesus, we have a God who's not only come to be one of us in person, to punish sin, but has also come to save us from those sins, so we don’t have to be punished.' - Des Smith Watch the full sermon: https://bit.ly/2JI9G2D

01.01.2022 'Life is full of conflict, isn't it? ... It's all so exhausting, and all you want is some peace. Well God says, you can have it. One day, all that conflict will be over you can live in a new world with total peace. All the evil and sin that disrupts our lives will have been destroyed, and you can live in total peace forever with Jesus if only you ask him for forgiveness and accept him as king. Isn’t that a relief?' - Des Smith Watch the full sermon: https://bit.ly/3fn4o8y
